Da Rick
Janzen
Coker
Daniel Lincoln when he missed both those field goals the year Kiffin was here. I saw him out at the bars two days later having a good ole time and it just made me even more mad. haha That sounds terrible when I type it out but its the truth.

Bryce Brown didn't necessarily break my heart, but man was his career with UT disappointing. So much hype for nothing.

Lane kiffin. The 2009 season was the first one I watched the entire way through. I thought he was going to do amazing things but alas he crushed the dreams of all of volnation in one tragic night

Broke my heart more for him, but pig's fumble vs uga 2 years ago. That hurt, but I wasn't angry, just felt bad for him more than losing.

I honestly don't get a broken heart over any football players. Love them to death, but not in a way that can lead to a broken heart.

Now Carolyn Grey, she broke my heart. But that's a whole 'nother story. Better not tell any more, in case my wife (not named Carolyn) looks over my shoulder. It was a long time ago, though....

Lamarcus cocker and Jansen Jackson are the first two that come to mind. Cocker at least by all accounts is a decent guy these days. The same can't be said for Jackson...obviously

Wow, I remember Hubert Simpson running over Notre Dame

I remember Hubert running over the Cleveland Blue Raiders (in HS).

Trying to remember the dismissed TE from Greeneville, Dustin Moore (not the first but a local kid who wasted a lot of talent).

She was the roommate of a girl who appeared in Playboy's "Girls of the SEC"...who my buddy was "dating"...and he asked me to cover the roommate for him...

What a night! We walked into Ye Olde College Inn & The Cellar like KnoxVegas Royalty...
All I got was the one night...but..what a night! (Roommate learned I was still in high school a couple days later)

Watching Chuck Webb limp off the field vs Pacific was a sick feeling... and he should have returned in '91.

I agree. I remember him saying that he would never be carried of the field. I still can picture his knee buckling as he was going out of bounds. Everybody pretty much knew that was it for his TN career. Another that I will always remember is Jerry Colquitt. He stayed around and waited till his turn to lead our Vols on the field but sadly blew his knee out in the UCLA game. My heart went out for Jerry that sad day. The one bright spot for that day was that was the first interdiction of the greatest TN player ever Peyton Manning. The Iky Johnson injury against Air Force was a heart breaker to. Thems the three I most remember in all the yrs of watching our Tennessee VOLS.

I don't know about first, but seeing Jason Allen destroy his hip against UGA made me sick. Even though he played seven or eight years in the league, he was never the same.

Inky was a huge one. So sad live. The crowd was just dead after that and I was real young and he was my favorite player so it was super sad. But another one that comes to my mind that no one else said was Nick Reveiz. That kid left his heart out there every single play and when he tore his acl it was super sad. Good kid. Makes me sad thinking about it now. Great player.
