Obviously, I've been watching some Olympic rugby (sevens). Which VFL would have made the best rugby sevens player? I came up with a top 3. The tricky part is you have to have above-average tackling ability.

1. Eric Berry - rare ability to tackle and avoid tackle
2. Evan Berry - rare ability to tackle and avoid tackle
3. Jauan Jennings - physicality and able to fight through tackles

Who is your 3?

@London Vol - your thoughts on this matter?

This one is right in my wheelhouse. So…
1- Al Wilson / Hacksaw Reynolds
2- Eric Berry / Deon Grant
3- Jerod Mayo / Leonard Little
4- Jimmy Streater / Shuler
5- Josh Dobbs / Hooker
6- Jamal Lewis / Kamara
7- Dale Carter. / Pickens

Two big mobile nasty props, A sweeper that can cover the field. Halfback combo that gives a lot of athleticism and options. A center that no one wants to tackle or one that you can’t and a wing that can defend and finish a run in the broken field.
There are plenty more that would fit but these are first to my mind.
I added the alts.

Nice! And good idea to do all 7 positions. Kamara is a great selection. Can your 4 and 5 positions tackle well enough? Don't know about Shuler, maybe Condrege instead?

Condredge would be great. I’m walking back the defensive side at 4/5 for decision makers and distributors.
All those two would need to do defensively is slow someone down cause help is coming quickly.

I’ll take our current punter first and foremost.

Art Reynolds - VFL, played on rugby club teams until his late '40s. Brother of Jack; Art is a maniac.
