Jennings has to be on my list. Didn't expect him to come in and get so much playing time right away.

Tuttle until he got hurt. Jennings has been great on special teams as well.

1. Shy Tuttle - looks like a 3 n out player. will be a 1st rounder in 2018.

2. Darrin Kirkland Jr. - fast and instinctive. will be an all-american before he's done.

3. Chance Hall and Jack Jones - looked beyond their years against Georgia and Alabama. right side of the line is set for the next 3 years.

4. Austin Smith and Stephen Griffin - haven't played much in the base defense but they've been impressive in special teams. moreso than anything, I like them because they just pass the eye test. Great size and athleticism on both of em. they look like they'll be big time players for us for years to come and future pros.

Honorable mention: Micah Abernathy and Jauan Jennings

Tuttle is an obvious choice and Kirkland is another good one who is starting to come along now that he's getting more playing time.

I am surprised nobody has said Paul Bain without even hitting the field..
I like Preston W. but Tuttle was looking pretty beast before he got hurt.

Kirkland is #1 on my list. The improvemant he has made from the first few games to where he is now has been very impressive.

Tuttle and Kirkland and Jennings have all been impressive, but my answer is Kelly. He runs very hard and makes Hurd leaving early not look as devastating.

Kirkland Jr

Jennings and Tuttle look like they been playing college football for a few years now too.

Tuttle would be my #1, but I like the way Kirkland is improving.

I am going to say McKenzie because no one else has. He was a little behind Tuttle after sitting out his senior year of high school and not being an EE. But yes, there are several who have really done well. Good to see.

Kirkland, Tuttle, Preston Williams, Jennings, Stephen Griffin, Chance Hall, McKenzie...

To be honest, I've been super impressed with all of them. All have come in and have more raw talented than many of our upperclassmen.

1. Chance Hall-- Who expected him to play this year?

2. Shy Tuttle-- With the energy around KMAC, this kid produced!

3. J. Jennings-- With Dobbs as QB, nobody expected him to play either.

4. D. Kirkland Jr.-- Has more than grown into an every down kind of player

5. Jack Jones-- Has turned out to be a pretty good guard.

These would probably be my two and if it came down to one I'd pick Kirkland. I isolated and watched him a lot against UK and the kid was a beast out there AND he is only going to get better.

When looking at the list of 27, it's truly amazing how many have become major contributors and almost all that have played have done so beyond expectations. After years of having highly rated classes fall flat, this one has been incredible. Last year was very good too, but this one has produced even more, with almost no flops. Even those that are redshirting seem to hold promise.

Kirkland looks like a future stud.

Tuttle was impressive.

Chance Hall is the most surprising to me as far as impressive. He has been solid as a freshman. I thought he would be the odd man out in a loaded class of OL

Switch Hall and Tuttle (pre-injury of course) and that's about where I'd have it. That being said, all 5 of these guys are going to be serious players for us. I honestly didn't expect to see Chance Hall or Jennings even see the field when they first got here. Jack Jones is a monster, that's all need be said on him. Kirk Jr really impressed me on Saturday, I think we found a replacement for AN, or maybe even an upgrade. They're living up to the hype thus far and it's got me excited about the future.
