Penn state only gets in if Clemson loses and even then Michigan may get in over them

Penn st did beat Ohio st . The playoff does usually favor conference champions. The committee could surprise me though.

Even if penn state wins the conference, and they beat Ohio state, I almost bet they'll screw them over and put osu in over them. I wouldn't be surprised to see Michigan get in over Washington!

Unless Penn State comes out and throttles Wisconsin, I think the rankings will remain unchanged. Maybe Ohio State moves down but they will still get in imo.

It's gonna be Washington, Ohio State, Clemson, and Alabama. If anyone gets left out, it's because the committee realizes Michigan is the bigger brand.

I wish they would go to a 8 team playoff, and use the BCS formula to determine the teams. Championship weekend is nothing but lopsided blowouts

Please show me where winning a conference championship or not dictates who is chosen to play in the playoffs. It does carry some weight, but this system was designed speciafically to take the best 4 teams in the country no matter if they win the conference championship or not.

It will be difficult but I wouldn't say it will never happen.

It should be Washington IMO. They are good but I do not think they are better than Michigan, Penn State, or Oklahoma.
