Which SECe team will next win a NC?

They re fielding mediocre and winning the division with it.

I hate it when we talk trash like that to Florida. Any other team, just not them.

I went with Georgia. The reason? I dont think Tennessee or Florida have the right HC for a NC right now.

Ga is in the same boat as Fl. Neither have a NC coach.

UT is institutionally supportive of mediocrity and averse to excellence (both the administration and the fanbase)....so they are out..

More often than not I don't feel this way, but the times I do. . .

In most cases I think the HC in football is 60% or possibly more, responsible for the wins. Jimmys & Joes maybe 40%. And then I'm remember Gene Chizak won a Natl title so, with a generational player and luck, anyone in the east could do it.

I mean to be fair I think the odds of UK winning a NC in basketball is higher than any SECe team winning a NC in football...at least in the next couple years.

I have to say UT, and it's not outta bias. I don't think it'll be under Jones unfortunately. But I think whoever the next coach will be, will take over the program in pretty good shape thanks to Jones and will just take it to elite level. I see all that happenIng before UGA or UF. Smart isn't going to work out, mark my words. And UGA has had plenty of talented enough teams to win a NC but they always fall plenty short usually. UF has the second best chance but I just don't see them ever being an elite team under shark humper. He's a decent coach that used elite talent recruited by the previous coach imo to just have good success but not elite success. Plus there's FSU to compete with yearly, and they're an elite program which could realistically win the Natty every year.
