Here's a UT football road trip delimma: 2016 poses two great road trips. The Battle at Bristol is probably a once-in-a-lifetime event which would be a bonaroo-type experience. BUT, I've always wanted to go to Texas A&M for a game, and they'll only play there every 7 years. I've seen UT play at every SEC school (except the two new ones-Mizzou and A&M, hence one reason why I want to go to College Station). Where to go in 2016? What say you?

If you like really FLAT landscapes and being in the middle of nowhere.. College station is for you

If you only have time or money to make one of the two, be part of an historic record-setting crowd and, presumably, see us emerge victorious at the Battle of Bristol. Also allocate some of the money saved by not travelling to Texas and invest it in some extremely high-powered binoculars, since you will be farther from the field.

I'd go to College Station if I were you. The tickets for the Bristol game are outrageously overpriced considering all you're really going to do is just watch it on the big screen because most of the seats will be too far from the field to actually see much. You can fly into either Dallas or Houston and spend a few days in one of those cities and then drive down for the UT game on Saturday.

Of those two, I would go to A&M. I am planning on making first trip to Athens next year

Bristol. For a Vol, the celebration will be better there. And binoculars will probably be brought to both. Haha

I've been everywhere but LSU and A&M. I'm planning to go to A&M in 2016 and I wouldn't miss Bristol for anything so I'm doing both
( i'm also hoping either the Cowboys or Texans will be at home the Sunday after we play A&M so we can go to one of those games)

Bristol would be a bigger deal if both program were in the top 20.. Outside of the SE.. Not alto of interest. Have many of us care when Hockey is played in January in a baseball stadium?

You'll only get the chance to see the Vols at A&M once every 12 years.

You'll only get to see the Vols at Bristol shattering the college football game attendance record once every...well, ever.

If you can't make both, make Bristol.

Go Vols!

Im going to Bristol for sure, but was talking to my wife earlier tonight, after seeing the schedule release, about flying down and seeing the A&M game as well...I dont really consider Bristol as a road trip, outside of it not being in Neyland

Bristol because of the historical nature of the game being the largest ever, but I really want to go to A&M to Kyle Field. Hoping to do both!

Fly into Austin. Closer than Dallas and a bit more fun.

Seems like it's a draw-half say Bristol, half say A&M...I guess the answer is...DO BOTH!
(Gotta convince the wife on this one)...

The Bristol game will probably not be very fun to watch at the track. I may set up a kiosk to sell binoculars. The only reason to go is to say you were part of it and I intend to be there.
