Per a new article I read a QB will be unavailable this week.

If Bailey starts and it's JG that is out that does not give me any faith that JG would not have started.

If it's Bailey then I'm sorry, but I still hold this staff responsible for not starting someone else other than JG.

If's its Mauer or Shrout I can't say that it will make much difference.

Anyone have any indication who it might be?

The answers you will get here will only be speculatory.

No one knows, the university has not and will not release names of those testing positive. If it’s JG we will know Saturday, we do “know” based on JPs comments today that HB is not the one who tested positive as JP said he “will definitely play”.

It could be any one of the other 3. If JG isn’t on the sidelines Saturday, it’ll be safe to assume it was him.

Could this be a kinder and gentler way to bench JG? Sort of like Johnny Majors going in for Heart surgery and Phil Fulmer taking over the reins permanently after that (although Majors Heart surgery wasn't fake). I could be dreaming. These are grown men, and if you want to bench someone, you shouldn't really have to do it this way, however nobody has questioned JG's heart. He's taken a pounding back there (because he holds the ball too long) and there is something to be said for that. When HB came in on the Auburn game, JG had a butthurt look on his face. Perhaps he knew it was the end?

Like someone said early.. all speculation.. Some intrigues perhaps, but it is what it is. Maybe a nothing burger.

I heard that Pruitt was starting Juan Jennings at QB Saturday. He will be wearing JG's jersey and since they both pass the ball about the same we should see no drop off in QB play. And as an added positive the QB might actually keep the ball on some of those RPO's that we keep hearing about.

I know Juan Jennings is graduated and moved on but this whole QB situations is just nuts so I thought why not post something nutty.

Lets just say that if JG is not out there and Bailey starts, that it does not make me think that Pruitt has turned the corner on JG.
Bailey will start and if he does it means CJP has moved on and playing the future.

If JG is sick, I hope he's okay. That said, it's sad if that's what it takes for Bailey to get a shot.
Bailey will start and if he does it means CJP has moved on and playing the future.

I don't wish anything bad for JG, I'm just stating that if he is sick and out and Bailey starts, I don't trust that the decision to move on has been made at the QB position.
