Which QB Enters the Transfer Portal First?

TN will not keep Maurer and Bailey. Forget about it. One will leave and light it up elsewhere. And as usual we’ll moan and groan over his skills at another school and wonder what could have been. Weinke is not a good QB developer and neither is Tee. Neither is worthy enough to hold Cuttcliffe’s coffee cup in regards to QB development.

Weinke, Tee and Cheney hands are tied. They just do what they’re told.

I say let Bama have their way with JG next week. Then after that its HB for the remainder of the season to get ready for 2021.

That wouldn’t surprise me. I’ve felt like Cheney has not been able to run his offense and particularity being severely handicapped with JG. I’m not sold on Tee or Weinke as QB developers. Tee is there for his recruiting skills. Weinke???? Seems to be a wasted coaching spot to me.

Chaney has to be frustrated. I mean he knows we dont have a competent QB on the roster that can step up and take the next step. People have bashed Chaney but I find it hard to believe that he just ll of a sudden forgot how to call good plays. I am wondering if he has ever faced a QB situation as bad as he is now?

I’ve told people since last year in the spring game that body language hasn’t added up. Cheney’s play calling for Maurer wasn’t that of someone that distrusted a qb. In fact it was just the opposite. He obviously trusted him more than the reports suggested he should of a qb that, in Pruitts words, “throws the ball to the defense”.


Bottom line is I think it’s now obvious that we’ve been getting lied to and I no longer have to bring up my personal experience of attending practices myself. Same goes for Cheney and Weinke. Don’t let yourself be fooled into thinking THEY prefer JG.
