Which QB actually has the best arm strength?

So which QB on the roster actually throws downfield the best? It sounds like that is a must do to be The QB in this offense.

How the hell would anyone here know? We’ve got a new QB, a transfer and two guys that have barely played.

I'd go with Bailey, but difficult to say. I've not seen much of Salter or Hooker. Maurer can throw deep, but his accuracy has been an issue.

He hit that one big throw against Georgia but I don't recall another one. IMO none have shown a good, consistent deep ball but Salter and Hooker haven't had the opportunity to show anything yet. Guess we'll see.

Hooker is a definite no on deep balls. From what I've seen from him at Tech.

Could be wrong on this but he seemed to overthrow his guy a lot last year. I agree he didn’t look great pushing the ball downfield though. Hoping maybe it was a timing issue with him being held out of so many practices.

Listening to a podcast during the season. Austin Price and Hubbs were talking about how Bailey's arm strength wasn't the greatest. But based on what? Its hard to tell because we really haven't seen a whole lot to go on...
