Which Pearl recruit will be drafted into the NBA first?

Not including Tyler Smith, who will be drafted first?

I'm asking this because I simply have no idea...any chance hopson makes the jump after one year? What kind of season would it take for him too? I cannot see him having a beasley or mayo type year but I guess it's possible...just curious...thanks...

I don't see it, maybe after two. I think it would take UT having a Final Four run and Hopson having a first team All-American type year.

If Scotty Hopson plays fewer than 3 seasons in college, I'll be shocked.

Would anyone like to defend their picks of Maze and Hopson? I just don't see it. Wayne Chism is easily the most NBA-ready player on the team not named Tyler Smith.

didnt he mention he would be a one and done if he had a good year

His thinking he is a one and done type player, and him actually being a one and done type player are two completely different things. He's going to be a very good player, don't get me wrong, I just don't think he will be "one and done" good.

Just trust in Bruce to make him the best he can be. He will learn to play a little D this year, no doubt.

what about Daniel West? BP loves his work ethic and if he improves his jump shot a little i think he could def. be a 1 rounder

Negedu may be the best athlete we have on the team this year. He could have a BIG season and have a huge projection based on his freakish stature.

Prolly Chism b/c he'll leave after this year prolly b/c he filled his papers or asked for a grade on where he would be drafted last year.

Hopson = one and done
No brainer. He has the size and shot. He will learn Defense under pearl. Im glad to have him one year.
Negudu will be drafted one day but not next year. He is too good an athelete not to get a look
dont confuse cfb and cbb

Are you serious? I mean really?

If that's the case I guess Stanley Asumnu should've been drafted really high just because he was a freak of an athlete... (sigh)

What exactly have you seen out of Negedu to imply that he won't get a shot?
