"Well given that James only got 22 yards on a Wilcox defense last year ... I thought that might be a push"

Thats because he wasnt our starter. Blount was.

He also averaged 11 yards per carry against Boise St.

was neal playing early or when the game was out of reach? I'm trying to figure out if he's someone the staff is actually currently planning on using at all

or if he's 3 or 4 deep on the roster and this was just "get the young guys game experience" carries

That I would agree with Oregon isn't ranked 11th in the nation for no reason. However I think that ranking and UT's situation is the one reason we have a slight chance to surprise. All they have to do is come in and discount this UT team and things could get interesting. The chances of that happening in my mind are fairly few and far in between but they are there.

Sometimes being ranked high and killing an unskilled team can work in the next opponents favor. Kids have a hard time "Checking their EGOS at the door" after a game like that....so the Vols and this staff need to "N.U.T. UP or SHUT UP" this Saturday and bring it hard all night long like Ron Jeremy would.....

Rajon Neal's playing time and Rajon Neal's speed do not go hand in hand. He is only a freshman, but that does not mean he does not have a fast set of wheels.

Neal is a speedster and will be a major contributor in the future, but LaMichael James is one of the fastest/ quickest backs in football.

Oregon has the faster, not necessarily better, running backs.
