I went with #4 because I saw no possibility of 1-3 happening.

Well, maybe #1 but I honestly have no idea if he has a chance or not....

Ok, you wanna know why i think yall are really biased??
42 votes for your own kicker to make the Ravens and just 7 votes for Leak (one of the top QBs in SEC history). Just because you are their rival doesnt mean you cant be honest about it. Plus, all of the QB's on the bears suck. I think both will make it, but 42 to 7?? comeon.

With the exception of Drew Brees, name me one good 5' 10" QB in the NFL.

Kyle Orton, Brian Griese and Rex Grossman are not staying awake at night for fear of losing their job to a QB that played in a rotation with a glorified fullback.

So that makes him a bad quarterback?

Yes, and James Wilhoit led the SEC in scoring in his career.

All he has to do to make the team, is be able to kickoff.

Not as hard as compared to being a Quarterback.

don't play the biased card without logically looking at the situation...
Leak is a good QB, yes, but obviously there were a lot of concerns about his NFL potential otherwise he would have been DRAFTED. Plus the Bears have 3 QBs on the roster that have started in the NFL several times. While they aren't very good, the chance is still small that he replaces one of them on the roster. Make the practice squad, maybe, but make the game roster, doubtful.

Now with Wilhoit, it was reported when the Ravens signed him that they wanted him for kickoffs ONLY. He showed throughout his career he can kickoff well, and they needed someone to take over that role for the aging Stover. They wanted to have Stover groom him to see if Wilhoit develops into a kicker that can replace Stover in a few years, but even if that doesn't happen, they are fairly confident that Wilhoit can handle kickoff duties.

It isn't a matter of which guy won what, which guy was the better college player, or who had the best college stats. If those were the main factors, Leak and Smith would have been the first QBs off the board, At WR, Jarrett would have been selected ahead of Bowe, Meachem, Gonzalez, and Craig Davis. The list could go on and on...

I agree with you. Leak maybe just 5'11" but he has adequate speed and throws a perfect spiral everytime. I dont think either player is more likely than the other to make their respected teams, I just think Leak is too good to not make it in the NFL. He may not be a great QB in the NFL but he good enought to be there without a doubt.

Well, when I first started posting here I thought you were a pretty bright guy...
I don't by any means think I'm always right, but I do like to give my reasonable opinion and try to stick by it.I always enjoy provoking you as you do UT fans as well.

I think Leak has a shot to play back-up somewhere. But the truth is that it seems unlikely to me because of his size and lack of mobility.

In reference to one option. Have you Tennesseans got Fred Thompson to officially yet? I am not liking my options for the primary and I love Law & Order

Leak was a great college QB. Think you are right about his prospects a pro. He'll make a decent living for a while though.

Too bad he didn't go to UT. He would have been drafted in top ten and compared to Peyton Manning. Oh well. :)

Leak is kind of Like Tee Martin.Good college qb, just not pro material.Given a chance though,he may fool some people.

Tee is nothing like Leak. Tee got drafted :)
True.Anyways he'd be just another qb from Florida that couldn't make it in the NFL.
1.Spurrier
2.Wuerffel
3.Grossman (on the verge of being outed).

I'll say this and no more about M.Thomas,I heard ESPN say that Denver rolled the dice and took a chance on him by selecting him in round 4.
(Understatement of the year).
