Which Current Commitment Are You Most Excited About?

Current Commitments:

Offense: D. Arnett - Will definitely get significant playing time in the slot and multiple receiver packages.. A lot of people raving about his quickness, ball skills and route running..

Defense: M. Couch - Huge pickup in terms of need.. Montori and Maurice could end up being a dynamic duo in the middle (Montori has to get healthy and step it up)..

Possible Commitment - L. Dawson - Outstanding talent that would see a substantial amount of playing time right away.. Unbelievable athleticism and terrific size.. We will beat out home state U for him in the end..

For immediate need I'm with LWS, Mo Couch. The guy I think will end up being absolutely sick though is Jordan Williams. The thoughts of him and Jaq as bookends brings back memories of the Chuck Smith and Chris(RIP)Mims days. I think Loften has a chance to be a superstar also...This is a tough question.

Most excited about is easy......Arnett
After all the QB/WR/RB usually gets all the glory because they score the points.

Now most needed or most impact is a completely other story.

exactly. we signed plenty of skill players in LAST year's class, THIS year's class needs to be focused on defense, and linemen on both sides of the ball, because that's where we're going to need the depth come next year and 2012.

Couch, based entirely on needs and ability to step in and play immediately.

Arnett would be second, because we're going to need somebody to fill G. Jones' shoes, and he's got the proper skill set.

Of the prospects, I'm thinking Dawson. We need linebackers in a bad way.

I'll go with this class as a whole. I think we are really addressing our needs and we'll look back on this class as the building block that brought us back to SEC dominance.

I am excited about the several O and D lineman that UT signed from Knoxville and 2 from Bristol. I think these are the kind of lineman that take us back to championship much like what we had back in the 80-90's when Fulmer was doing a good job with line.

From what I understand, Gabe Wright really likes U.T. but his parents are forcing the issue with Auburn. I expect the parents to win out and he will go to Auburn. However;
this month, his parents will be with him on an official visit and that visit may change their minds.

You have it backwards.

Gabe likes the Aubies, but his parents like Tennessee and want him to go there. I'm expecting Gabe to heed his parents' advice and come to Rocky Top, but I'm not holding my breath on this one.

I'm Gonna say Mo. Couch and (Touchdown) Tommy Smith are the ones i expect to help us the most next year out of our current commits.

Cam Clear and B Noore would be just as big if we could add them.

Im with you. If he can catch a punt and a kickoff, he will have a huge impact compared to this year. It will be awesome to actually not be scared to death every single time we actually do force someone to punt.

Agree! I'm tired of hiding behind the couch every time we punt (or kick a field goal).

I'm really looking forward to the development of Justin Coleman at CB. It'll will be nice to see a combination of great speed and size at that position and will really allow our defense to do a lot of blitz options if he develops to his full potential.

However, after seeing A.J. Johnson play in the UA AA game tonight, I'm PUMPED to see him in orange!

I think Juda Parker will be the next great de/olb player for the vols and Andrew Power reminds me so much of Jason Witten it's scary. Easily my 2 favorite recruits in this class.

Arnett and Johnson. I think these 2 will have the most immediate impact on our team.

I'm also excited about Worley for the future.
