So I'm supposed to be scared of a team that quits in the second quarter?

No, no one said you should be scared that’s a choice. I won’t sit here and say we’d play well against them though. Motion offenses hurt Tennessee and their Defense at full strength doesent help us either.

So after the dust cleared from all of yesterday’s games, are we sitting any differently in our bowl hopes/opponents?

Tampa and the Outback Bowl all day. Why would anyone want to spend New year's in Jacksonville?

Last night the VQ guys mentioned the Gator is targeting Tennessee and Kentucky for the SEC. They thought that in order for Tennessee to land in the Outback, Georgia would need to beat LSU. Music City Bowl reps were at the game last night.

I thought it was worded Notre Dame or ACC vs SEC -- that case they would not have to take an ACC team

No it’s not.

From the Orange Bowl website: “The Capital One Orange Bowl will host the ACC versus the highest ranked available team, from the B1G, SEC, or Notre Dame.

Michigan would kill tenn! Pruitt beats vandy and now tenn is an elite program?! Riiiggghht! Maybe the new orleans bowl against old dominion or how about ga st? Rematch? Or just beat someone in the top 25 in the regular season and not just lower sec teams

I know a Florida bowl is appealing, but with Nashville being the new hot bed for in state and mid-south recruiting. The Music City bowl makes a lot of sense . I know yesterday we lost the number one recruit to Oklahoma. Just a thought.
Everyone loses recruits from time to time it just happens

Was he the number one recruit on our board? No. There people on here who know recruiting that say he did not have a commitable offer to UT.
I really wonder how many great players want to come to UT because we won the Music City Bowl vs playing a very good opponent in a Florida bowl.
