Which Are The Only Teams?

We should have a winning record against an inferior conference like the big 10. Note that most of the teams Ohio State has never beaten are from the SEC. both Mich and OSU would never see a playoff game again-ever- if they played in the SEC east or west. A shame Fulmer couldn’t find a way to beat Penn State. A ‘normal’ TN team should also never lose to a team like Purdue or Iowa.

One of those USC games we were horrible. Very lopsided defeat. Forget the year.

We got destroyed the first two games of 1981.. USC whipped us 43-0 in LA, and Georgia whipped us 44-0 in Athens.. I remember because I was 14.. Just turned 55 years old on Wednesday, 01/05..

My bad, we lost 43-7 to Souhern Cal.. Lol.. Looked it up, and saw I was wrong.. We finished 8-4 that year though.. Lost to Bama and Kentucky, I didn't remember losing to UK in 1981.. We won the Garden State Bowl over Wisconsin in 1981, 28-21.

That was such a tough way to start a season, on the road in Athens and Los Angeles.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! Yes it was, both USC and GA were loaded that year.. But, the Vols went 8-2 the rest of the way, including the bowl win, so that's not bad considering how the season started.

1) Oregon

To be fair, I could have also included BYU due to that weird gray-area they seem to reside in.

Speaking of MeatChicken, I saw today where Tom Brady moved up to the # 2 spot on leading 4th quarter comebacks.

Oh course, Peyton is # 1.

All of Brady’s individual accomplishments are because of longevity. He’s played 20 full seasons while Peyton played 16.5 seasons. But don’t tell that to the Brady worshippers.

Look I really like Peyton a lot and all - don’t get me wrong on that at all - but it’s also unfortunately not really that much of a competition at this point anymore….
