Is Jack Jones really not one of the best lineman on the roster? Did he not earn his spot the way he performed last season?

Are UT's best lineman really on the field?

He needs to start of Weisman.. Plays with an attitude.. When he played.. Good things happened

our young guys are GOOD but they are not ready for high level SEC comp. Richmond still learning too. Jack Jones keeps showing progress I think, he's got a lot of versatility and plays with some grit, but I think the coaches would prefer to float him around to give guys rest (once Hall is back, that should change things). He's serving a useful function at the moment, just not starting.

Jack Jones isn't a rookie and earned a starting position...and....he's not playing....

there is no way they he should not have been given a shot last night. He couldn't have done much worse than Thomas who wasn't even getting a hand on some people
