One thing i know for sure, im not the least bit worried about our rb situation. We are COMPLETELY SET at that position for a while.

What do you guys think the chances are that Poole transfers after this year? Especially if we end up signing a RB in this class like Bernhard? Has he used a RS year yet?

If I heard EG correctly, he is running with the STs some. Got to find your role on the team, and do your best with it.

Keep your head up, and keep competing Poole.

Forget Poole. I've been wondering where Nu'Keese has been. I figured a guy with his speed, we would figure out a way to get the ball in his hands.

You heard correctly. Gran said that he told Poole it's a long season and he will get some reps.

The key was he told him that he has to be ready and when his time comes perform.

He then proceeded to tell the story how Ronnie Brown was in a similar situation... Wherein he was not real happy with his role. But when he got his chance, the rest was history.

Yet another example of EG being a tremendous hire.

I like Poole just like I've always liked Hardesty. I hope he doesn't transfer but instead gets his shot and shines just like Hardesty is doing.

what about getting Oku some more touches? While 2 and 11 are definitely our horses, 27 needs to get the ball more.

i really like poole. id like to see him come in on like 5 to 10 plays and give the a new look. some time in the 3rd n 4th qu the d is a worn down and with a fresh back in there he can show some life. AGREE THO CEG IS THE MAN... What a problem to have too many rbs.

I can't imagine Poole trying to bounce some of the runs outside as often as Brown has the last few weeks.

On at least one of those red zone series, I would've brought him in to run a reverse....as a decoy. You know the defense would've keyed on him. And thereafter, get the ball to him a few times and see if he can break one.

Based on what, his amazing kickoff returns? He has been a disappointment so far on kick returns. He does not seem to have the vision to hit a crease or a cutback lane on kickoff returns.

hes avg. almost 19 yds per return, which is pretty average (not even top 50 in NCAA). but he's also 2nd on the team in all purpose yardage at 71 per game. if we're gonna keep throwing these screens and flat routes, you can't ride BB and MH every down and i think Oku could be an asset there. on the flip side of that, there's obviously a reason he isnt getting the ball out of the backfield more even with the roll-outs they're doing with JC. i just say give him a chance and see what he can do. wasn't really "based on" anything, just a casual observation from a fan of the boy.

Fla and Ga both could use a back like TP. He just got caught in a numbers game.
