Where would Tennessee be right now if they had hired Mike Leach?

JG would throw 12 interceptions a game in a air raid offense
JG would have never played a game for Leach.

That being said, I don't feel confident that Leach would put in a solid defense either.
Putting up 56 points on 72 passing attempts is fun, but if the defense scores 57, you still lose.

I'm glad we have who we have. Pruitt is a solid coach. I said at the beginning of this year that I was just thankful to have football, and that I wasn't going to be upset at anything that happened. I realized that NOBODY is able to run a normal program this year, and there would be effects from that. I hate losing to Kentucky in any circumstance. But I realize that these guys didn't get spring practice to prepare, they didn't get much of summer conditioning, they didn't get to scrimmage hardly at all, Fall camp was crap because of the quarantines. Nothing has been normal. And I'm not making excuses, you still have to execute. But this year is just one that to me, doesn't gauge who you are as a football program. There was a LOT of preparation missed this year for guys like HB or our wide receivers who really needed it.

Leach’s offense has looked like hot trash this year aside from the LSU game. In the past 2 weeks they’ve scored 1 offensive touchdown

He's 4 SEC only games into a job with no spring and limited fall work for a team that was terrible last year whose last 4 recruiting classes were 11, 9, 9, 11 in the SEC. They only lost to Kentucky by 22 on the road, we lost worse at home to Kentucky in year 3.

It's also pretty funny that Miss State has better defensive numbers across the board than we do through 4 games and they have played two of the top 5 offenses in the SEC so far. They are averaging more yards per game but 5 less points right now. We've had the benefit of playing the worst defense in the league in Missouri though. Once again, in game 4 vs year 3.

Hmmmm

So.Pruitt gets ar least 5 years before he is responsible for the embarassing losses his teams have given us.. His vaunted defenses have been blown out more than the previous two coaches...

But Leach gets 4 games...yall are so blind
