Where were you?

I was at a resort in Destin, FL. There were golf carts with the Georgia G buzzing around everywhere. After the game I rode around on our cart drinking beer just so they could see me. There were lots of Auburn fans and they were loving it. I expected dirty looks from the UGA folk but they all just pretended I didn't exist. I don't think I caught a full breath until Sunday.

I'll spare yall of the boring details of me sitting at home watching the game but there is a really good chance I may have a son or daughter in 9 months. Anyone think Jauan is an inappropriate name for a girl?

Jauanita, maybe?

I was in section 602. Happened right in front of us, except for being up in that 3rd level. I remember watching the ball in the air and thinking at least we'll have a chance. Saw the ball go into a crowd of players, never saw it caught, but I knew it hadn't hit the ground either so I got hopeful. Then saw the ref throw his arms in the air and I erupted into cheering and jumping.

Hugged and kissed my wife and then hugged at least a dozen random UT fans that I was seated near. Sang Rocky Top a couple of times and just stood there and smiled. Saw a couple of players doing "snow angels".

Maybe 10 minutes later we went over a section to where my parents were seated, took a couple of pictures and stayed there celebrating until the ushers told us it was time to go. Game was probably over for 15 minutes before we even knew it was JJ who made the catch.

Was an awesome experience!

In my living room. I stood up from my chair walked over to the TV and stood when Dobb's sit the team down. When it was snapped I said to my wife here we go. He released that beautiful tight spiraling ball I raised my hands and said "we've got it we've got i!"
When Juan snatched that ball out of the air I almost jarred the deer heads of the wall. I was screaming and jumping my wife was saying OH MY GOSH and my 14 month old son was crying because Daddy is acting crazy.
When UGA scored that go ahead TD I was sickened but I didn't accept the loss. I knew Evan Berry could house it with one opening. I told my wife it's not over we still have time and this team hasn't quit all season. Boy they sure didn't disappoint either.

I was at home with family. But the best part is, I have a great friend who is a die hard GA fan. Nicest guy on the face of the earth but we love to smack talk each other when football season rolls around. He was at a wedding tho and couldn't watch the game. When Ga scored the go ahead touchdown, I sent him a text congratulating him on the win! I conceded defeat and told him Eason threw a game winner and I couldn't believe it. He asked me for the score and I told him the final with the Ga win. He was so excited! Then I had to text him back to tell him we won on a Hail Mary! He didn't believe me. It was glorious!!!

I live in a Chicago suburb. I was at a big bar with huge TVs. I was getting moderately inebriated. I had a button up shirt on (with an undershirt) and ripped it open in triumph on the sack fumble TD that put us ahead. After that, I slid down the wall to the floor when Eason hit their TD. Then, for the Hail Mary, I went ballistic jumping up and down throughout the place and highfiving strangers. Mind you, there are not many Vol fans (or SEC fans, for that matter) up here. At one point, our waitress came back to the table with a manager, and I thought I was getting removed from the bar for sure. Instead, she had brought him back with her to apologize and explain that, no- they indeed did NOT have bottles of Dom Perignon to sell me.

I was following my superstition of what makes the Vols win. I have to start out at 9:00 with Gameday, keep the TV on til our game starts. Watch until we begin losing.

Then I have to go outside and do something constructive. Can't listen on radio. Just work. Wash the car, yard work, etc.

There always are outside watching parties all over the neighborhood so I hear cheering when anything good happens and I go in and can watch if we're ahead. Go back down and I have to go back to work.

The whole neighborhood erupted in cheers, horns honking, firecrakers. I run inside to find that, once again, I have positively affected the outcome of a Vols game this year. Thank you very much! :)))

Mine is very similar to yours. Same with the Florida game. They start losing and I find something else to do, usually outside. No radio, no TV. And since I live in Florida there isn't much indication of what is going on if I am outside (mostly FSU fans around here). I have a childhood friend who lives in Jacksonville (we both grew up in Knoxville). I told him "I'm checking out of this Georgia game, just let me know what happens". So he finally texted me "Game over. Georgia long bomb for TD with :12 seconds left". So I thought "Well shoot, I guess I can go turn on the highlights". So I went into the house and turned it on with :10 seconds left and saw Berry's return. Then with :04 left what did I have to lose? So I kept it on.... AS SOON AS Jennings caught the pass I hit "pause". Ran outside and told my wife to come back in and see. She asked "but Pete said they lost at the end". I said calmly, "Just come in and check this out". I hurried in before her and hit the rewind button back to the :04 mark". We were both amazed! What a feeling! So against A&M my best option is to watch a little bit in the first half then go outside and find something to do in the backyard until the end. So far it has worked 2 weeks in a row..... And it is the same thing I did during the Georgia game LAST year.

I dont understand how people can do this...I have to see every second of the football game even if were down by 30. I will not turn it off till it has 0s

I was in my den in Rome, Ga., by myself. When the catch was made, I started running around the house screaming. My cat didn't come out from under the bed for about 12 hours!

It's amusing how many cats do not appreciate a good touchdown. Mine doesn't like TD's either.

Call it superstition. I would rather the Vols WIN and me MISS the game than to watch the whole game and have them LOSE. GO VOLS!

I was at the home of an acquaintance, deep in enemy territory in Florida. The next door neighbors were big Georgia fans. I was pretty quiet for most of the day and especially quiet after Eason's TD, but I came alive when we won. Pretty sure the whole neighborhood heard me.

I've been known to go to another room in the house and watch if we are doing bad in a game. The Georgia game in like 2007 when Georgia went up early I moved from the livingroom to the den, then to my shop radio, then to my stepsons lil tiny tv and BAM! We came roaring back so I watched it on the tiny tv as we proceeded to beat em down.

This year when im not at the game I have started going outside and not watching for a bit and then one of my sons checks the score with his iPod. I went outside until he said "daddy we are coming back on them" and I came inside and watched for a bit. Seen us recover the fumble in the endzone and the pick. As Georgia started driving under a min to go I couldn't watch for some reason so I went outside. My son said "they won daddy with a bomb to the endzone."

I got sick at my stomach and tried my best to not let it ruin my day but about 30 seconds I said hell I don't even feel like doing anything so let's go back inside. I walked in to see Berry running out of bounds around midfield so I knew there was one shot at it. With all the bad luck UT has had I just didn't figure it would go our way. Dobbs sets his feet, fires and OMG it's caught! Are u kidding me?

I picked up each of my twins and held them one at a time and nearly squeezed them till they burst! Lol. Ran around my livingroom fist bumping them (they are my best friends btw) and our puppy was jumping up and down too just from our excitement so I picked her up and hugged her too! Haha

Was the greatest feeling I can remember. My kids have never seen us beat UF, and this team did it and then the next week a finish like this after all seemed lost. Was excellent!

I've seen some big games over the years but big wins are way sweeter with my 2 little Vols there to watch. Their 11 so since they've been old enough to follow football they haven't got to see many big wins for UT.

Now they done got cocky! Ha, I love it!

I was on the 21st floor of a condo in Panama City Beach, FL. Had the same emotions as everyone else after the final GA score. Then "the catch" n I went nuts.
Went out on the balcony and someone down on the beach was playing Rocky Top-Loud.
I started singing and waving. They saw me and we were all singing and waving. They played Rocky Top for at least 30 min.
Great, Great experience!!!

I had just come off the field with my high school marching band at a competition in Cleveland, TN at Bradley County High School. I called a friend to find out what was happening and while on the phone GA had scored. I was pissed but trying not to show it in front of the kids. Just a minute later my phone started blowing up with text and phone calls. That was some of the most amazing text and calls I have received in quite a while! Go Vols!!!

I was with you brother but I never turned it off. Spent 3 semesters at UT, a torn ACL that kept me from walking on, Coach Fulmer begged me to stay at my school but I told him I wanted to wear that "T" on the side of my helmet. My parents paid for out of state tution so I could walk on and I let everyone down, but I never lost my love for my vols! CUT ME AND I BLEED, BUT I BLEED TENNESSEE ORANGE!!!!! Go Big F***ing ORANGE!!!!!!!

My heart and my body will rest in Knoxville!

Laying across my bed dejected while my 7 year old tried to convince me we still had a chance. Kept saying we can score a touchdown in 10 seconds daddy dont worry. Then the catch happened I scream like a maniac while my son jumps up and down on my bed yelling I told you so. My 12 year old who was watching in the living room joins us. And we watched the replay a couple dozen times amazed every time.

On the Georgia coast amidst Dawgs fans. A wayward Nebraska fan told me he'd root for the Vols. The final 2:30 seconds was a cardiovascular workout. After the finale had sunk in, I told an exemplary UGA grad that I thought Eason was the real deal and expected to see Georgia in the SEC CG before his 4 years are up.

[Between you and me, I'd be happy if the Vols thwarted that, and Tennessee begins a streak atop the SEC East beginning this December.]

Section 104, row 16. Sang Rocky Top for another hour after the game is over, then headed to downtown bars to taunt more UGA fans. Glorious day.
