Why wasn't this site filled with threads about managing expectations no matter what the coaches Tweeted out?

Oh, there were some. Those posters were negavols or simply didn't get it.

It appears that the "Full Butch" crowd has now turned into the "what did you expect?" crowd.

Most fans expected this team to be 3-2 after yesterday.

Ask yourself one simple question, honestly. Do you feel better about this team after the WKU game or the USA game?

Something that a lot of people on here need to look into. This is called emotional intelligence. That is all.

Honestly, how many these threads do we really need? Being "full Butch" and expecting us to be 3-2 aren't mutually exclusive ideas.

Freak.....I wish you would just combine all of these redundant threads together. None of them add anything at all...and could just be lumped together. Geez!

Uh, go back to the week leading up to the Oregon game...much less since January.

This place was buzzing with excitement after the Butch hire and every time he farted it was posted on here.

You say, "Being 'full Butch' and expecting us to be 3-2 aren't mutually exclusive ideas."...and I agree in reality. But go back through this site in the off-season. I would argue that is wasn't mutually exclusive.

And you had to start an entirely different thread to express your annoyingly redundant ideas.. why?

Because I wanted to.

Were you complaining about the 30 "Kiffin was fired" threads started earlier today?

I would say that we probably need about 10 more of these threads to reach an optimum level of understanding of the topic.

Defense is better. But they almost had to be. Effort is much better. Sad that merits a mention but it does. Kicking game is better. The offense is train wreck in the middle of a dumpster fire.

There is no doubt the team sucked this past Saturday. It's time to watch the film and work like heck.

I remember a lot of excitement and Butch saying the right things and laying the foundation to start the process of changing the attitude, but I honestly don't remember anyone picking us to upset Florida or Oregon. Maybe I just missed them.

I agree that the 2nd half was tough to watch. But I do think this team is better in some ways than last year. Obviously we lost a ton of talent on offense. But this team does not quit. Yes I know about the 2nd half. But what about at Florida. Last year they would have folded. They had alot of fight and did not give up. Our defense is better too. Not saying great at all....but better. Our running game is much better than last year....wish we had run more Saturday. But we have to get the throwing game going. Croom, Pig and North are going to be great I think. We just have to get the ball to them. But yes, I do think we are better. And I guess that just shows how far we have fallen. Sorry, I just get so tired of the negativity. Lets support our coaches and players and do something against Ga to build on.

I'm full Butch and expected 6-6 at best. Some here apparently believe coaching can turn sub-par SEC players into world beaters.

As of now we don't have any style points, sure. But we'll get better, and I see improvement in the way the kids are handling things. Attitude is a huge part of football, and I see that changing for the better.

We've lost to arguably the best team in cfb, and a legit Top 15 team with the best defense in cfb. Anyone that expected to win those games wasn't being realistic. Patience is virtue.

And a thread was started after every tweet n every brick by brick comment.. n don't forget the off season butch gets it threads.. remember the one saying he was the second coming of the general????

I thought 3 n 2 at this point but I'm not impressed by his so called system. I see plenty of issues with this staff.. will talent solve it I don't know but we have to have plenty of it..

I agree....and you make more sense than almost anything else I have read here.

The defense really isn't better. With the exception of APSU and a 2 minute stretch of the WKU game our D has pretty much sucked.
