Phillip Fulmer is BACK… on CBS. No he won’t be back on the sidelines, but Phillip Fulmer will definitely make his presence known in SEC football this year. Love him or hate him there’s no denying that Fulmer was a great coach for Tennessee. How can you deny it when he left with a 152-52 record?

Fulmer may have left Tennessee after a less than wonderful 2008 season, but he is returning to the SEC to make his presence known. He will be working with CBS on two new SEC-oriented shows this fall. CBS will be broadcasting the SEC Tailgate pre-game show and the SEC Post-Game Show. Fulmer will appear on both of these shows for CBS. This will be Fulmer’s second outing with CBS. He served as a commentator for CBS’ coverage of national signing day in February.

I will definitely be interested to see how this works out for CBS. Choosing Phillip Fulmer to appear would be similar to choosing Steve Spurrier. Most SEC football fans either love him or hate him, there’s not a lot of in between. Like it or not though he’ll still be around as part of SEC football this fall.

Fulmer was having flashbacks from the previous 4 years and could not face the camera. Rumor has it he was being consoled with some powdered jelly doughnuts.

Why can't you dingleberries put the Fulmer thing to bed once and for all. One would think none of you Negavols have enough basic intellect to discuss anything other than how badly you hate Coach Fulmer...

I case you haven't noticed there ice for brains, Coach Fulmer has not been Tennessee's coach for sometime now... In fact, clueless ones, he has not been a part of the Vol football program for several months now. No he did not cost us the Florida loss or the UCLA loss. No he is not out there secretly conspiring to burn down Neyland Stadium. No he isn't trying to negotiate a deal to stop commercial air service to McGee-Tyson. No he is not part of any diabolical plot to drain the Tennessee River. No he didn't try to rewire the Florida scoreboard so that it looked like the final score was 230 to 13. And No, he did not try to drain the silicone from Lawgator's avatar. So whiners, shut the *&^% up or go play in the traffic at the I-40 / I-75. intersection. :crazy:

Didn't see anybody thinking Phil was still the coach. A little touchy aren't we? I thank Phil for what he did and curse him for a program left in shambles. If he had been coaching this year, it would have been another blow out. His time was over so you need to get over it. Time to move on and embrace the new regime.
