Where to stream games for free this season...

Over the past few years, quite a few here have recommended some great sites for free streaming of the upcoming games. What free sites would you recommend this time around? Looking for sites that would be consistent like in the past. I am gearing up for a much better season...

$8 a month for Disney+ and you can stream all SEC/ESPN games. Cancel once the UT season is over in November and your only out $25 for the year. Thats like 2 packs of cigarettes' and a case of Busch Ice.



edit...$8 might not be right. It might be more like a carton of cigarettes and a 40 of Busch Ice per month..

Not a lot of good options for free. Your best one imo is get a family member who has cable to loan their username and password.

majority of UT games will probably be on SECN. I'm not sure SECN is included in Disney+

I'm using HULU, but it sure ain't free. About $70 month.

It is. My bill is $71 with tax. He might have hbo or something. I'll add it and cancel it a few times a year to watch a few movies or a show. Another thing I dont miss about cable. Jumping through hoops to add/cancel services.

Are you sure? I thought the Disney+ bundle only included ESPN+ which is its own thing apart from the other ESPN channels. Please correct me if I'm wrong because that sounds like a heck of a deal.

Yeah I'm wrong. You can watch conference USA football though!..

Looks like they ESPN + along with Hulu for $15.99/month. Not sure if ESPN+ includes ESPN/SECN

I like sportsurge very much (also great for EFL soccer) and USTV2GO. Best if you have a private internet access provider to offer a layer of security.

Not quite accurate. You have to have the bundle with ESPN+, AND a tv subscription that already includes ESPN. So way more expensive than $8/mo.

I looked into all of these streaming services and I found that Sling is cheaper than the rest. The base package (called Orange, not Blue) is $35 a month and unfortunately for me that gives me the Big10 network, so I had to pay $11 more for a sports package that includes the SEC network. But for those of you who live in Dixie, you probably get SEC and SEC+ with the base. And of course, the regular stations like CBS and ESPN are included as well. So it seems that Sling is about half as expensive as the other services like Hulu, Fubo, and YouTube TV. Sling streams over the Internet so you can either watch on your laptop or phone, or run your laptop into your TV like a giant monitor, or if your TV is already connected to the web, you can browse straight to Sling. A bonus is that the first month is only $10. Cancel anytime. I'm a convert...until December!

EDIT: A lot of the prices being quoted above in other posts assume you already have a streaming service and the prices are for add-ons. What I am saying in my post here is that if you have an internet connection, you can go from no TV to all of the Vols football games for $35 a month from a reliable provider, not some sketchy outfit. And $10 for the first month. Start it the morning of Sept 2 (access is instant) and you could go through the New Year's Day bowl games for a total of $115.

SECOND EDIT: Note my post #28 below. Sling doesn't come with CBS.

All this is true except for CBS. I'm pretty sure you have to get Paramount+ to get CBS (or antenna) because it doesn't come with Sling from what I saw.
