Dabo took over for Bowden 2008 4-3

Coaches Fulmer and Chavis had many a knock down drag out verbal fights calling each other various names. Coaches argue all the time. It is pretty normal.

Coaches are going to disagree on strategy, who plays, practice drills and particular plays. It is not unusual.

Coach Majors cursed coaches out all the time in front of the team and some cussed him back.

Any dust-up that occurred will be forgotten by Saturday

You guys realize we are out recruiting Alabama now right? Our young players are top 5 in the country (depending on your reference). If you think Clemson recruits arn't looking at what's happening at UT right now "just in case" you're wrong. The wheels are already turning.

On Basillio's show today, Beano had a couple of damming numbers. He said before SEC split into 2, UT was measured on Bama, Auburn and Vanderbilt. After splitting into 2, it's Bama, Florida and Vanderbilt and Jones is 3-10. If you throw in UGA, it's 5-12!

What some of you dudes don't get is that no one on this board is doing anything but talking. It's not like anyone on here has the authority to make a decision on Butch's future. It's all just talk and, by the way, Stoops is through coaching so that isn't even a viable option.

Larry, some fans can't handle the truth that the talent level at UT is not competitive with top programs. Having Butch Jones pacing the sidelines doesn't help, does it?

development of players is pretty poor in Knoxville IMO. and that may be the answer because I believe the talent level is way below the ratings they have gotten for the classes signed. 5 stars are supposed to impact year one on campus. Ours haven't done that IMO

Our quarterback position is on par with Florida but no other division foe. That is a pretty big position when competing for the East

If we lose more big games...why would these kids want to come here..it isn't nsd yet. .these kids can decommit or negative recruiting will happen..we will lose some of these guys imo

Why does Jones insist on entertaining qb's that cannot run the read option element of his offense? This has bothered me for a few years now, and the way the offense is set up it's like a boxer going into a title fight not being able to throw the jab that sets everything else up.

The wheels were coming off Florida back when Urb ran out. Florida hasn't been nothing super special for quite some time. They have been more lucky than good, the only good thing is the Mac is safe there and that is not good for Florida either. GBO!!!!

Dabo's first big time win, the win that put him on the course to be the coach he is today, imo, is the 2012 Chic-fil-a bowl against LSU. That's when LSU had played Alabama in the national championship game the previous January. (Game of the century) But Clemson was 10-2 coming in. Losses to FSU and Carolina (a let down season to most clemson fans), most Clemson fans here in South Carolina had NO faith they would win this game. That January they had just watched the Orange Bowl record 70-33 loss to West Virginia, so this LSU game was basically chalked up as a loss.

But they won 25-24. That gave Dabo a huge win. That was his 4th full season at Clemson. Clemson had NO where near the talent on his roster that Les Miles had. But he outcoached him. Period.

Butch isn't pulling off any upsets.

no other option right now. JG is just not ready... development at the QB position has been really, really bad.....
