So, the devil is upset at how well Tennessee basketball is playing. He's ready to cut his losses and make a deal, and he's coming to you to do it (I know ... I thought that was crazy too!). Feeling generous and fearing what could be worse, Satan is willing to guarantee that this Tennessee team makes the Sweet 16, and being the 'nice guy' he is, he's even willing to grant a respectable loss trying to reach the Elite 8.
Do you take the devil's offer, or would you take your chances on a better tourney result but open up the possibility of losing in the first or second round (again)?
To me, a Sweet 16 is respectable and would cap the season with a good feeling, albeit the sense they could have done more. An early loss, however, would sour the incredible accomplishments so far. I can see the merit behind either choice.
The devil is waiting. What do you do?
