Where is our next 5:00PM "Big Surprise"?

Memphis is an hour behind, but keep in mind that he told this to the group in Knoxville, where it is already 5:00. Don't get too upset. We stole Jackson from LSU this morning, and we just got the top player in the nation to come visit us!!!!! Pretty good day in my book.

I thought this was in Nashville? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

He was just upset and flaming. He said he is not committed to anyone and wanted to be left alone.

He will come to his senses, and put on a power T hat. It is by far the most logical choice for him IMO.

I'd say yes it's more logical since Syracuse is horrible, and Auburn just signed 1342532 RB's.

I think that we do end up getting Oku. I have no source, but I was just thinking that Auburn signed a lot of running backs (I think he is afraid of competition), and I don't see why anyone rated in the top 500 would want to play at Syracuse. I am not sure if he has visited anywhere else, but I think he will be calling Kiffin wanting to get back in to the Orange and White. JMO
Even though Syracuse may not have the tradition of our Vols, as far as running backs go, maybe Oku wants to follow the tradition of running backs there you may have heard of: Jim Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little. Just sayin, could be a reason, but who knows with this kid?

How can Oku look at the depth chart at RB and not want to come here. Youv'e got Hardesty and Creer and Poole. Hardesty prob won't make it through the season without getting hurt. Creer doesn't have the breakaway speed. He could see some early PT if he came here.

Nice try. Oku was about -32 years old the last time one of those guys was on the field.

Care anything about football history? How long did it take you to figure out who those players were? You can be assured Syracuse educated him. Nice try grasshopper.

for it to be a "tradition" I would argue that it needs to happen consistently.

not 3 times in the '60s.

Hey Pops! SU has done nothing in 40 years in terms of producing talent aside from Donavan McNabb and Dwight Freeney...and that was 10 years ago!

OK...I'll throw in Jeff Saturday.

The point is Syracuse, NY is a dying town...cold, cold in the winter. Since Carrier Corp. left its pretty much a ghetto with nothing to offer off of the field.

The town is old and fading...the Carrier Dome is falling apart and for sure there is no air conditioning...sponsored by and air conditioning company (never quite figured that one out and neither did Jim Boeheim.

If I'm the best AP RB in the country...I'd much rather play in the SEC, against the best talent in the country, in front of the most rabbid fans ever to view a game...108K strong...on National TV virtually every week.

Most importantly for Eddie Gran...thus sayeth Caddilac, Brandon, Kenny and Ronnie!!
