Where is Nico likely to land?

When you look at the rosters of title contenders for places Nico might land, tOSU stands out. Their best QB looks to be a RS freshman who didn't exactly light it up last year, or an incoming freshman. They didn't get an experienced QB in the winter transfer portal so maybe they went fishing with a lot of $$$ on the line and hooked Nico's dad. Wouldn't be surprised at all if tOSU is behind this thing--pay Nico for 1 yr. while their two inexperienced 5* QB's develop. Nico gets the $$$, OL and receivers he thinks he deserves, he goes pro next spring and tOSU gets an experienced QB for only a 1-yr commitment.
Hopefully, Northwest Vietnam Tech, eating Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes for supper and having to sell pretzels at the fair to raise money for cleats

Why on earth would any big time program want him? His play on the field doesn't warrant what his family wants. And you have to deal with his drama queen family

Colorado seems like a perfect fit to me. But I don’t have a clue what their QB room looks like.

Rumors point to UCLA or Texas Tech. Hearing some buzz from friends in Texas that a mega donor at Tech is looking to get the team built up.

I have relatives in Lubbock. Some of them are involved with the AD. I kind of like the place honestly. Good people for the most part

Nico-a SoCal kid in Knox was always kind of a weird marriage. I'm sure he tried to fit in but you could always kind of see a look in his eyes like he was a fish out of water. Nico in Lubbock though?? That has the makings of a bad TV show that only lasted 3 episodes on the UPN.

Does seem like a perfect fit. Would be interesting to see how Neon Deon would mesh with crew Nico. If anyone can manage an attitude, he could. Might be Nico's salvation in all this. Weather might be a problem. Not pajama weather.

Ohio State makes the most sense to me on paper, but they haven't been mentioned by any inside sources.

USC also makes sense, but alot of people apparently like their QB room. I think Lincoln Riley could do alot with Nico.

UCLA seems to fit the need and is near Nico's home. But do they really have the money? I think if this happens it's a huge loss for Nico both from a payment perspective and a career perspective.
I imagine Ohio State saw all they needed to see.

Now I kinda want to see it, haha. Ol Beanpole strutting around in cowboy boots, ten-gallon hat, and a grass skirt...that could become amusing real fast.

You mean a redshirt freshman who didn’t play last year while they won the national championship? Makes sense.

Been hearing North Carolina may be in the mix and that would make a ton of sense
If that happens quite a few big time UNC donors will be upset. They already didn’t like the HBC hire, it was done behind closed doors that weren’t supposed to be closed, if you know what I mean. All of this is going to be very interesting for sure. Just happy we are out of that mix now.

Rumors are UCLA, N.Car, Maryland, T.Tech and Wisconsin.

All are a step WAY down from Tennessee.

Even looking at things with the most objective of lenses.

I posted last night and I will say it again-being QB1 for UT or any traditional powerhouse has value in and of itself. Just like being QB1 of the Dallas Cowboys has more value than being QB1 of the Jacksonville Jaguars (sorry Trevor) even if they are paid the exact same salary. One gets 50 million eyeballs on you and the other gets 10 million.

The whole thing kind of has a scent of Nico having a panic attack that he couldn't measure up in the SEC.

I said what I said.

UCLA, Colorado or Texas Tech school is my guess. I haven't heard of a QB injury at any of the big-name schools. He needs to go somewhere that he will be a starter on Day 1. Not sure which school that is, but not any of the playoff schools right now.
