Where is Kevin Sumlin?

I feel about the same with Sumlin as I did with Brohm. Not my first choice but lets get behind Sumlin. Provided Currie does not crap his bed during contract negotiations

Sumlin wouldn't be bad at all.. lets do it

get a good staff behind him though - especially for QB development and a good strength coach - that was lacking at A&M

Sumlin would be a good choice as the next head coach and he developed Manziel. I think he was also targeted in the 2012 search.

Sumlin is better than anybody in the east and I'd rank him around 3rd in west.

Not counting Ole Miss, which actually Freeze was a good coach... I would put him last in the West. He beats the East teams and Arkansas.

Just read that Sumlin is the next target. I'm not really to excited about it, but what other options do u have. Also, just read that Peyton was on board with the hire of Schiano and he was vetted everything came back clean on this guy. Peyton spoke to Bill Belichick and he agreed with the hire and also Shciano had a great staff already in place for this team. This team is going to pay a big price for the actions of a lot of the fans. I understand a lot of u are passionate about this program and I understand, but sometimes u have to let the AD do his job that's why he is getting paid.

So...what program came and swept him up after us?

Oh yeah, NOBODY.

I'm pretty lukewarm on this an would much prefer Kiffin, Tee or Leach.

Sumlin got off to a great start at aTm but why couldn't he sustain the success when he had the hot program in the state?

Thought morris was next....i take sumlin in heart beat at this point

Just my unsolicited advice, y’all should ease off the “let’s all hit Twitter” stuff.

It seems to be having the opposite affect of what you’re hoping for.

This 100%. Plus how much of his success was on the shoulders of Johnny football?

Sumlin!!! Has been one of my top 3 choices from the beginning. Currie needs get this done. The best hope to save the recruiting class.

Sumlin was just run out of College Station because his teams fall off the face of the earth after October or Bama game, whichever comes first.

If not for the West being down this year, on a normal year he would have been 0 and 6 this year.

to get a gauge on how sumlin may do at UT, look at his record vs the east and bama.

overall, while at a&m, he was 9-3 against the east (played uf, ut, mz, sc, vandy) and 1-5 vs bama.

that's 10-8 and 56%.

bout the same as mullin was vs the east and bama.

not sure he'd be worth what we'd have to pay him.
not sure how i feel about this truthfully.

EDIT: 3-3 vs Mullen
