Where is Jeremy Banks?

The reason for the switch back to running back was because Chandler and Jordan were banged up Charlottee week. I think the coaches are going to try to keep him at LB.

No offense intended, but if you’re asking this question, you’re not following Tennessee football very closely...at all.
At all? I'm aware that 99% of the people who post on VolNation know the exact daily status of the 100+ players on the Tennessee football team but, I must apologize I am not. I did for not know why Jeremy Banks did not carry the football this past Saturday. I saw him on the sidelines from my 30th row seat behind the bench and assumed since we were getting the crapped kicked out of us and could barely gain a yard, that CJP might consider giving him a chance. I checked the injury report and he was not listed so, I was baffled. I also could not remember how many fumbles a running back is allowed before he can carry the ball again. I'll look for that chart. However, I do appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to remind me I need to spend more hours of my day studying Tennessee football. Ok, off my soapbox and back to work.

He is usually first lane downfield during kick coverage. I’d say unless an injury, he will make the complete move in spring (esp if we get Gray).
I think LB could be huge for his guy
He's runs with attitude and we certainly need that.

Much more athletic than Bituli.

Banks can get to 230 lbs and not lose any speed. Excited to see him at LB
Agreed. Could see Kirkland and Banks starting in the middle next year with Bituli on the edge.

Would like to see JJ develop well enough to take an edge spot but with his classroom struggles and coming in out of shape, I question his work ethic.

On Banks moving to defense and back to offense, that isn’t uncommon and it doesn’t mean Pruitt didn’t like what he saw. Sometimes coaches will move guys during the bye week to help them make a more permanent decision after the season.

He's certainly someone you want on the field.

I think he can be a JRM type player at LB.

Yeah Peterson has a lot if ability. And him and Banks at MLB could....could be something special based off of athletic ability. They had them practicing with each other this week.

Bituli is more suited on the edge. I agree. He has trouble with his run fits sometimes.

Uhm....my eyes?

How do you know Tyler Byrd is faster than Juaun Jennings? Have you personally raced them against each other?? No...
Yet you know regardless!
Judging current game speed is a lot more straight-forward than predicting game speed in the future after a player has added 10-20lbs.

Maybe CJP needs to release Weinke and find a rb coach. All of them seem to fumble too much

but Weinke was a QB -- didnt they add Montario Hardesty to a staff position -- I would rather have him coach the RBs

Well, he was the recruiting coordinator too, so he probably should get a little credit for the talent too.
the RBs were avg those seasons -- I did like Foster, though most fans hated him -- Creer and Coker were good but you know how that turned out -- Riggs Jr was decent too I guess
