Where is he?

If you hate it simply because it's Bammer, I got nothing but respect for you. I honestly hope they lose by 50 and Bama's D gets lit up. I always hope that. But to act like there's a problem because he's coaching the team he was signed up for THIS year, is just stupid and childish.
I want them to get trampled simply because they are Bama. I give them no quarter because our future HC is their current DC. They are Bama. **** them and everybody associated with them.

I don't think we paid him enough.
LOL. He hasn't done anything other than show up at a press conference and hire a staff. some of you have already anointed him heir to Saban and he has not been remotely near a UT sideline.

and some of you are trashing the people that object to him recruiting for our mortal enemy... smdh

I go with Clemson due to family connections. My hope is a 3-0 Tiger win.

Well this is a nonisssue. So he needs to pick and choose what he is fired up about more selectively.

The man has a job to do. The fact he only sees it his way, and doesn’t understand a man finishes his commitments before setting out to new endvors blows my mind honestly.

He doesn’t though. He conveniently skirts answering those kind of detailed questions. He’s just mad it’s Bammer. If he’d just admit to that, I’d have no problems

It doesn’t really matter if it helps our recruiting. You have to grasp that he made a commitment to the players and staff at the job he’s leaving. Be honest: if Pruitt wasn’t transitioning from Bama, you wouldn’t be crying like this, correct?
oh but it does matter because that is what about half the sunshiners are selling. that it helps OUR recruiting. it would be ALABAMA's NC and would help ALABAMA's recruiting.

and nobody's crying about this, so get off that high horse. he works for the enemy until they lose, and I couldn't care less about him til then.

The guy I quoted is crying. Quit meddling if you’re clueless on how messageboards work.

professionalism, would be committing a 100% to the team you just agreed to lead...

It also means honoring the contract to the team you just left. In case you missed the press conference, he is all about honoring his commitment to the kids. If you don't think current players and recruits along with future recruits aren't happy about that, you are very out of touch. He is recruiting and has stated that he will recruit and plan right up until the dead period. At that point there is little he can do with the program. It is only then that he will go work with his FORMER team to get himself and UT a little more exposure.

You really don't understand how this generation of recruits think do you. The guy that will be associated with the team in the National Championship series will be at another school next year. I guarantee CJP will get a lot of screen time during the game,

I hope we have a bunch of visits lined up for the TN/UNC basketball game at TBA on Sunday. That place is going to be rocking! Win or lose, recruits will be impressed by that.

I was agreeing with you until your last sentence. :bad:

w/regards to pulling for Bama for the playoffs due to increasing the level of stock our new coach is worth, I am far from switching allegiances but, fully understand that kids want to come to play for a winner - and CJP is proving to be just that.

Kiff, Dools and Butch had won SQUAT before arriving in Ktown.

Go Vols!

Yup. As ALABAMA's Defensive Coordinator. That is going to be the overriding comment. You are freaking delusional if you think every time they mention his name they are going to say "Tennessee Volunteers Head Coach".

And why do you think he is going to get a lot of screen time at this game anyway? Because he is leaving? :eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

I see and understand both sides. I just don't like his decision, Tennessee has made him a HC so he should be committed to us and move on from Alabama

Part of my stance is my disdain for Bama, I don't want them to do well

We know where he's going to be on the 15th, 3 days prior to the dead period, 5 days before early signing starts. He's going to be in Tuscaloosa working like heck to make Bama as good as they can be.

Then you have him in the press conference saying not to worry about the early signing period. Wonder why that is? It's the 600 pound gorilla in the room.

Not really. Some on VN want to make a mountain out of a molehill. This recruiting class was in severe trouble way before Pruitt was hired. If you thought he was going to swoop in and save the whole thing, then you are one of the ones setting ridiculous expectations.

A man honors his words and commitments. I fully respect Pruitt for doing what he is doing. Of course on VN, it wouldnt matter either way. We have the idiotic Hatfield and McCoy syndrome with Alabama.

But I wonder, what would happen if the shoe was on the other foot? What if we were in the playoffs and Pruitt faced the same choice? Would you and others react the same way? I would be willing to bet you wouldnt. I bet you would be clamoring for him to honor his commitment he made to the team.
