Johnson, City has a lot of places to stay there's a Fairfield Marriott that has just opened beside it is a Marriott. I think its called Hamilton place center. If you want to stay a real nice place try carnegie hotel and spa very nice just across the street from East Tennessee University. Johnson city is about 20-30 min. to Bristol very safe town.

Back in the day rooms were booked within a 100 mile radius. Lot of folks stayed in Pigeon Forge. This will top that. Don't plan on driving in and finding a place to stay. As for me, less than a mile to the track.

I have had a house for sale in Bristol for a year. It is 5 miles from the track. Guess I will put it to use for the game.

Me, my girl, and my buddy are staying in Abingdon, VA on Thursday and Friday, which I understand is about 20 minutes from Bristol. We have a campsite for after the game on Saturday, because we heard that Bristol is a NIGHTMARE of epic proportions to get out of after a race. We will just walk out of the stadium and into the campsite to start the post-game partaayy!!

In an RV at all American campground! Stop by while you're waiting on traffic to clear. I'll be the drunk guy playing guitar and singing Waylon songs by the fire.

Waited too late, wondering where everyone is staying and what towns outside of Bristol might have rooms available? Leaving on Friday coming from southeast Alabama, and wanting to get a leg up. I dropped the ball on the room but still looking to grab one close by. Thanks in advance! Less than a month might still be able to grab something. Price isn't a concern. Suggestions?

I know Johnson City is going to have a concert downtown and some other stuff going on the night before. It may be worth driving the few minutes to Bristol for cheaper prices and a better atmosphere. Godspeed!

I am staying in Wytheville, VA. I am flying into Baltimore. I am making a week of it; I'm going to do some tourism in VA and DC and see the Mets.

If anyone has a 10x10 spot so I can setup a tent close by the track please let me know. I'm driving from Norfolk to Pensacola that weekend for the military. Just happened to be on game day weekend so all works out!:loco:
