We're staying at the Baymont Inn off Piedmont, 3/4 mile from the GA dome, hopefully I'll see some of y'all there. I'm not sure whether I want to tailgate or pre-game in the room. A bar also seems like a sound bet.

We're staying at the atlanta hilton downtown, but will be spending most of the time in midtown--where all the good clubs and restaurants are located.

I'm either staying at a friend of the family's house, or at a hotel with a couple of guys I know that are going to see Widespread Panic that night.

If any of you plan to stay the entire weekend in the ATL, come catch a Flipside Runner show at a Wild Wing Cafe on 1/1 or 1/2. Suwanee, GA on the first and Alpharetta on the second. The Wild Wing Cafes are 20 minutes tops from Atlanta and are incredible places to watch football and listen to live music.

I brought one to an event like 2 years ago and was able to get in fine. As long as your lens isn't too big, and you only bring 1 lens, I would think you could get in, just have it in a small bag.

The wife and I will be driving down I-85 from the Charlotte area...probably in traffic with a bunch of Hokie fans :w00t: :post-4-1090547912:. We're staying in the Buckhead area...have early check-in and then plan to take MARTA to the Dome area to enjoy the festivities and then after the game either the Peach drop or head back to the Buckhead area to party and celebrate the Vols victory. :dance2:

If the Vols lose everything will pretty much be the same except for the celebrating part will be replaced with :cray:. :eek:lol:

If any of you are down there now you need to hit up Fogo De Chao in Buckhead. I wouldnt go the day of the game because you will be miserably full. It is the best place to eat steak in ATL. It is a Brazilian steakhouse. All you can eat. I think they have a lunch price through the week. The weekend night price is pretty high. Well worth it though.
