He is on the radio now talking about the mistake that UT is making by Fulmer leaving and how they're not enough coaches out there available that have UT ties that could come to Knoxville.

Family first, I guess.

He's upset that he just lost his inside connection to the program. No objectivity at all in his opinion... so you can laugh off anything he says at this point.

He also said he believes Fulmer will coach elsewhere. He went on to say that he wouldn't be surprised if a couple of big name schools that have vacancies have already contacted Fulmer's agent.

Fulmer + the ENTIRE defensive staff will go to that school.

Sorry but I don't see it. Not at a big school.

I wouldn't be suprised. Univ. of Washington comes to mind. It's a change of scenery and it's away from TN and he doesn't have to deal with any of the issues around here.

Without saying that Doug Matthews has lost what little is left of his mind, I will only comment that this would really, really surprise me.

Jimmy talking to Charles Davis on SportsAnimal. They're talking about how hard it will for the next guy to win. Whatever.

I hope they do. That will be one more school that we won't have to worry about beating in the future.

Cut DM some slack. He is good pals with PF and using more emotion than he should. He typically is fair in his analysis of the teams play.

Doug Matthews, quite frankly, is a Fulmerite. He stopped accepting calls on his Big Orange Sunday show that had to do with firing Fulmer or Fulmer stepping down. Quite frankly, he is an idiot.

Man this groupthink of idiots that think Phil Fulmer is the only man in the world that can coach at the University of Tennessee is ridiclious.

The talent is here. The coaching is not. It all rides on how much coaching you receive and guidance. These players aren't "coached up" at all. You can tell by the demeanor on the sidelines.

I would be surprised if Fulmer went elsewhere to coach. For one, I don't know what big time school would want him, and two, I just don't see him having the desire to coach somewhere else.

Can you imagine how bad he would be if he went to a school where he couldn't recruit well?

I hope he goes somewhere else. Get him as far away from the new staff as possible.

It would suprise me to see Fulmer coach outside the state. I could see him coaching at MTSU or Memphis, but not many places else.
