Seems like I haven't been around a lot lately, because I haven't. This place has changed quite a bit! ESPN affiliate, eh Freak? This place grows by leaps and bounds each year, it's crazy. Almost too big to control! LOL

So what have I been up to lately? Well, moved out of my dad's house to be closer to school and work. I'm still in full time school, but recently quit Best Buy. Going to be moving back in soon, though. Moved in with my friend and his girlfriend, but unfortunately things between them kinda went downhill. At leas they agreed to pay the lease break.

The economy is making things tough, that's for sure. Even though I was one of the best-performing salespeople in my store, they still couldn't afford to give me the hours I needed so now I'm without a job.

In the mean time, I'm close to wrapping up my first degree in automotive engineering. The final stretch, gaining an internship, will be challenging for sure. Hopefully I can make it. I've decided I've taken a liking to electrical systems on cars, and want to move on to an electrical engineering degree. I've got some ideas for aftermarket car electronics I want to put to production.

In the mean time, I've started to get heavily involved in motorsports.

A video from the last event I was at (drifting), about halfway between Portland and Seattle. This is from last Saturday.

I wasn't driving, but I was there for ride-alongs and some mechanical support. Ended up working on about half a dozen cars while there. Hopefully some time this summer I should be able to drive.

Within the next couple months - Already invested about $3k in suspension modification, and will be roughly 280-ish brake horsepower and weighing in at under 2400 lbs.

Anyways, now that I'm not working I'll try and make more time for VN. Good to see things going well. :)

Hang in there Milo and keep your head up. Tell Freak to start paying you MODS and that will solve all of your problems. :)

Oh and sorry about your job also man. I seen the other day where BBY laid off 250 folks at the HQ. Maybe things will pick up and you can get on with your life and do what you really want to do for a living, good luck...

I wouldn't worry. Obama has promised to save us.

In all seriousness, good luck.

Great to see you Milo...I worried that you had lost interest with Ainge's departure. Look forward to seeing more of you.

I like you more and more...

Good to see you Milo. I was worried that you had turned your ban hammer on yourself after reading some of the genius threads floating around here the last couple of months.
