I feel like A&M is pretty much crap but Arkansas has a pretty poor defense also. Mizzu is just absolutely terrible.

Of course that is us at our best being at 3rd but, with our inconsitency, I would not argue having us anywhere from 3 - 10.

It's muddy in the middle. Could put Tennessee anywhere from 5th to 9th and defend it well.

Some years, ranking them makes sense. Many years, just gotta think of them in bands:

Top Band: Bama - LSU
Second Band: Florida - Ole Miss
Third Band: Vols - A&M - Miss St - Georgia - Arkansas
Fourth Band: Auburn - Kentucky
Cellar Band: Mizzou - USCe - Vandy

I do think we'll end up informally 5th or 6th in the pecking order for Bowl selections, for what that's worth.

Bama is in a class of their own. UF and LSU are interchangeable. Ole Miss, UT, Arkansas, and Mississippi State are similar.

UGA, A&M, and Auburn are all extremely talented with coaching/team chemistry/weird position problems.

USC is the clear leader of the bottom feeders right now.

Vandy, UK, and Mizzou are all terrible.
