one stop on fourth down beats the Gators last year! One! We will get that this year! We were lucky against Georgia. A great punt really helps in that game. Lucky against SC with the fumble in the red zone as they were driving to tie the game. Hence, Jancek out and Shoop in. This is going to be a much better defense, and the whole SEC knows it!

Well IMO Shoop will at least make QB's earn a 4th down conversion. Hopefully stop them and because of the aggressiveness force turnovers but the change being CJJ's sitting back and spying a statue qb to coming after the qb with everything we have and making them beat us with the right choice, good throw and be on time, all really really quick.

I believe shoops strategy of utilizjng a 2 deep will pay off in defense finishing and not dropping off on production in 3rd and 4th quarter. He stated kids must not play so many snaps to stay fresh and f I nish the games they way they stsrted
