Where Do We Go Now?

Owens and Carmichael beat Alexander and Kasonga in a 2 on 2 pickup game. It's the year of banging against SEC competition that makes the difference. Just a minor detail.

We'd have to see a video or hear an audible quote to even consider this. Making it up as you go as usual. Shoddy trolling.

Volnation: where we come to argue about a 19 year old kids weight with a butthurt troll...only here lol

Yes you are right and we are talking about two players one out the door and one headed to a mid major. I still don't get the obsession by a certain board member to interject a previous coach and soon to be previous players into every single one of his posts and into every single thread he posts.

This is sad and both these kids have made their own decisions to move on with their lives vs sticking around. Their choices.

As far as the previous Coach is concerned innocent or guilt he undoubtedly put the program and the University at Risk and as long as he was on the sideline there was always going to be a cloud and/or an investigation with the University receiving the fallout and collateral damage of it.

Time for some to let the remnants of the CDT era go.

Well, pounds per inch of height or PPI is one of the most crucial statistics for evaluating basketball talent and potential. It made John Wooden the Wizard of Westwood and what would Bobby Knight have been without this all important guide for judging talent.

carmichael would find a way to foul out and his team probably wouldnt score any points. Owens would get slung all over the court by Ray Kasongo.

Yes this is absolutely True!!! that is if you duct tape Alexander and Kasonga hands together and blindfold them. Then Owens and Carmichael have a fifty % chance of winning. I bet that Carmichael will foul in in less than 10 minutes though.:eek:lol:

Would anyone look at the two side by side half page pictures of Willie Carmichael and Tariq Owens in last year's BTT and then tell me this 6'10" dude does not weigh 205 and the 6'8" dude does not weigh 210? Nobody mentioned CDT until someone else brought it up. We are talking about player weights. Owen's calves are also almost as big as Willie's. So you are telling me the strength and conditioning program is just so much BS. Both these pictures were taken prior to May, 2014. Guess you are saying the pictures are doctored??

So if Owens gained 10 lbs we need to rehire Tyndall?

If you have the ability to look at a picture and accurately determines someone's weight, then you need to be working at Dollywood at one of those guess your weight/age booths.

Have not seen anyone who has looked at the picture of our former player in last year's Basketball Time in Tennessee come back and say he weighs less than the 205 he is listed at. If they did, they would be laughed out of the forum by those who have. That mag came out in Sept. Here, 8 months later, he is listed at 215. Not a stretch at all.

SD in all fairness what does it matter? They have transferred out and moved on. They have been replaced by 2 post players (Kasongo and Alexander) who have better upside or potential. The babble on the weights or pictures is just absurd don't you think?

BTW for anyone who might know(Auntie Dee). Why is Carmichael taking Summer mini-term classes at UT if he is transferring out? It doesn't make sense to me for UT to pay for Summer tuition for him if he is no longer on the team or no longer going to be on the team! Just curious.

I'm not sure, but why does it matter? If a kid is taking classes towards his education, whether he is transferring or not it shouldn't be our concern. I hope that didn't sound too douchey man I'm not trying to be.
