Parallel Verses
King James Version
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Darby Bible Translation
Every one that practises sin practises also lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.

World English Bible
Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.

Young's Literal Translation
Every one who is doing the sin, the lawlessness also he doth do, and the sin is the lawlessness,

When it is all said and done and this life has ended, the smartest decision that I have ever made will be the day that I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior! I lived twenty-five years as an unbeliever and now looking back I can honestly say that serving Jesus has been the best thing that I have ever done and was the greatest decision of my entire life!! my only regret is that I wish that I got saved the first time that he dealt in my heart!

Do you think Jesus is G-d
Or
Do you believe that Jesus is Of the father with all the authority of the father and deemed worthy by the father but in fact separate from the Father.

sin is the transgression of Gods laws. when we choose to disobey Gods laws, we sin against God. Many times we have done it in ignorance and sometimes on purpose. Nevertheless, Gods law was broken.

Is repentance still required for salvation as in the days of the temple system. Or did Jesus replace the need for repentance?

I believe in the Holy Trinity of God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Separate but the one true God.

King James Bible
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

How is Jesus a fulfillment of the law and what did he fulfill?

Not sure how you look at Christ as apposed to Christians, but he was the first without sin. I would say that is fulfilling the law. He was tempted, lived as a human, and suffered but carried through.

salvation is by grace through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. eph 2:8 the law wasn't given to save but was given to show you that you are a sinner in need of a savior!

I would say, respectfully, that i am not shifting the burden of proof. That burden lies on those who make claims of certainty either for or against the existence of God, moreover on one who is attempting to persuade others to adopt their beliefs. I certainly am not. Faith is personal in my opinion, and others are just as entitled to their beliefs as i am to mine. Nobody cpuld ever convince me my God is not real, i know some atheists believe just as adamantly. Best wishes to you and yours, be you atheist, agnostic, whatever. Go Vols

Both are equally disturbing.

In the book of Hebrews, God the Father called God the Son God.

G-d is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Psalms 119 is was and will always be the standard.

Yeshua is the suffering servant of Isaiah 53 .
Jeremiah 31 has not happened yet.

Several are called Elohim threw out scripture. Are They all G-d as well?
I’ll leave out the authority of Hebrews for now and ask this.
Jesus said he and the father are one and you can be one with the father just like He is. Does this make you G-d too?

thanks slice, you are spot on, Jesus is the suffering servant of Isaiah 53, In Zach Jehovah speaking in first person said that they shall look on me whom they have pierced speaking of the crucifixion of coarse! Jehovah of the old is Jesus of the new!

not Deity, as they but we have been partakers of the Spirit of God if you have been born again! thus taking on His divine nature and being made partakers of the blessings of God!!! Also being a part of the church and thus being the bride of Christ!!!!!!!!!!

Cool. Been waiting to meet him all my life.

Either through death or the second coming of Christ you will get your chance dear friend. I pray that you see him through the eye of faith before that happens.

There is a levitical system for atonement and forgiveness. I’m curious how Jesus fulfilled it.
Jesus said he didn’t come to destroy the law(system) but to fulfill it (make complete).

Many Christians believe he said.

“I didn’t come to destroy the law, but to end it”
That couldn’t be further from the truth in light of Mathew 7:21
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

He doesn’t know the lawless
