Do you have any proof that the tooth fairy isn't real?

I know you want understand, but there's a reason people are still looking for the loch ness monster, jersey devil, and Bigfoot.

Because you can't disprove them either.

Damn. Guess it's better to believe that all of a sudden everything just came from NOTHING. That sure is airtight. Lol

Lol once again:

Human ignorance does not mean god is real.

Nor does it negate Gods existence.
My purpose of this thread was never to play "gotcha" "you can't answer, so God is real" I was/am interested in the theories on how life came from non living stuff.

Simple. Some goo in the water came to life, transformed into giant lizards, now here we are.

Of course this was after the universe magically came from nothing.

Slice, you have kids, I would expect that you know where life begins. Has Red been hiding the truth from you?

I struggle with This as well. GOD just is and always has been. I have trouble wrapping my mind around that. It's no different than in science Where the new school of though is energy always has been. The big bang is just the most recipient big bang. The theory goes on to say at some point all will collapse and bag out again.

Apparently with both God and science there was no beginning.

You asked about new information:

Because calculations show the universe is expanding at in increasing rate of speed, most scientist no longer believe the universe is constantly collapsing and then exploding again.

That's regeneration.
Trees / seeds / trees / seeds ect.

What caused elements to start breathing?

I tend to believe in a Creator, but realize that even that begs the question, who created the Creator? Did life spontaneously come into existence at some point to cause the creation of a Creator? In the end, I see both sides of the arguement, and both sides have merit, but the simple truth is I have no answers, only more questions. To state anything definitively, as some have done, is nothing but foolish hubris. Unfortunately, there are some things that will forever be above our capability to understand. This is one of those things. That's why I say let others believe what they will without belittling their faith. If you have faith enough in your own personal beliefs, you shouldn't feel the need to prey upon the insecurities of others, which many of the "scientists" seem to do. I have no problem with the search for answers, I just don't believe in finding those answers by attacking the beliefs of others. Faith is a personal thing, whether it be in religion or science. Something that is postulated is still just a guess. Without the advent of time travel, none of us will ever be able to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt we are right, and everyone else is mistaken.

Just a few of my own personal thoughts on the subject. Sorry for the rambling.
