UGA has a good D, but Clemson's OL isn't that great and they're QB looked awful. He was very inaccurate all game. Unless he starts playing better, this Clemson team won't win 10 regular season games, even in the ACC.
He will. Uga has a great dl. They attack. They may kill Milton, Hooker and Bailey. That wasn't all on Clemsons OL. Clemson will be ok only challenge they have is VT

They’re the same old UGA. Will kill most teams but lack of offense will keep them from the natty.
Not likey unless Bama has serious injury bug. They may still be in final four though. They should beat everyone not named Bama on the schedule. Bama is on a whole different planet than most teams

Right, because if you never coached or played you can’t have an opinion 🙄
Never said you couldn’t have an opinion did I. People are B!tchin about winning 38-6. After looking at multiple teams this weekend I bet you there is a lot teams that wished they could won 38-6 regardless who the opponent is. This is Milton 1 year under a new coach in which he only got to campus a few onto ago’s. Let the coaches do what they do snd get paid greatly for it. Milton is the starting QB because he bets out the other 2. I take CJH word for it over anyone on this board. He has won a national championship as a player and coached 2 heisman winners. I think he knows best when it comes to coaching QB’s!

I‘m a faithful UT fan. I like our coach. Our QB did not play well in the passing game on Thursday. His career (high school and college) passing stats have not been stelar either. Translation? He doesn’t look like he has progressed well in the passing game, so people like me are concerned.

I agree, but I can also see where the skepticism is coming from. By all means, I hope Milton learns and balls out. At the same time, I’m not going to put all my eggs in his basket because his weaknesses are hard to overcome.

I voted Bench him yesterday. The traits he displayed against Bowling Green were bad habits that aren't easily overcome. The guy just doesn't have it. We had to run an offense in the 2nd half against a winless team without throwing the ball because we were so bad at it.

Staring down your receiver, failing to scan your options, poorly placing deep balls, indecisiveness, slow runner, no touch or accuracy with his throws, making decisions pre snap. Etc. Too many iissues. It's not just one bad game. It's deeper core problems with how he plays in general.

UNC is good. Howell is likely a 1st round QB. Miami is decent enough to give them a game. Pitt and VA aren't gimmes either.

Having said that, I fully expect Clemson will cruise to another conference title. They are just way more talented than everyone else in that conference. But I'm less convinced given the way their QB played today.

CJH Picked what he thought was the best QB for his system, not necessarily the best QB

I love the South in the fall! What could be better than shrimp & grits, BBQ, tailgating, hot dogs and burgers, beer, and fighting amongst ourselves about the greatest traditions and teams in the South, and thus the U.S. Don't worry SEC, life will one day become normal and fair...Alabama will be reined in somehow. We all know that if it makes no sense at all, it's easy...follow the money. And doing wrong never leads to a good outcome. They'll get theirs. Go Big Orange... Go SEC!

Howell and UNC did not look good on Friday night. VT brought lots of pressure and UNC had no answer. It was a home game for VT and an incredible atmosphere but I still think UNC is overrated.

You are right that several ACC teams have a shot at Clemson but none are likely to stop them from another title.

That sounds great. But when you’re up 28 against one of the worst teams in college football you work on some things. That’s what you should do. In our case, he should’ve put in another QB and let them throw the damn ball.

Heupel doesn’t know who our best qb is based on seeing them go through 3 weeks worth of drills and a couple of scrimmages. You never know what anyone will do under the bright lights. Personally, I believed Bailey would be the best qb we have and I still believe that. I think heupel feel in line with the thought of a 250 pound running qb with a huge arm. But size and arm strength are overrated. Those are great qualities so long as you can first do the more important things. Which are…throw on time and accurately to the right read most of the time. Nothing else matter if you can’t do that and Milton didn’t look to be consistently able to do that. Even against a horrid defense that gave him all day to throw. There’s plenty of time to correct it but heupel’s made his first mistake. There’s almost no way Bailey wouldn’t have put up way better number against BG. The same is true for hooker.

They dropped 8 the whole game. The only reason to throw against that is if you're down. LSU An had the same look a few times against UCLA tonight. Except they were in a 4-5-2 look. It's hard to find lanes when you're throwing against 8 defenders and you have 3-4 receivers. That's why I sad said 300 yds passing or 300 rushing. You take what they give you. So if Milton was 30-54 for 378 yds with a loss, then you'd be blaming the Defense. So in reality you end up blaming someone. Even though we won.

If a passing play is called and your QB is looking for a receiver for four seconds and a WR or TE or TB comes open, isn't that a reason to throw to him? The only reason for not throwing to him is that your QB lacks the talent to see him on the field and make the decision to throw.

You seem to be really sure of your predictions just based off of one game in the season, let’s see how those play out lol
