So which Kentucky loss is worse for Mullin? This one or the other one?
If I was a fan of UF I would be pissed off. Then again I am still pissed off a little about Milton starting. Good days and bad days I guess. I do hope we do not have the same issues at KY as you did last night. Mullen is a hell of a coach. He has a track record. But honestly thought it strange the way he came off the field. Why are you happy or anything but disgusted by that performance as an Offensive guy ? And as you said a silent count ready ? UF is a much louder place to play and I don't recall us having that many issues. But we have had our share as well. And you hit on two of the biggest issues Gator fans took away from the Kentucky game. #1, the arrogance of not having a “silent snap count” ready to go at an away SEC game. UF went with the QB clap count. Well, it was obvious very early on the UF Center was NOT hearing the claps. The timing/blocking and entire offensive operation was off all night long, not to mention the procedure penalties. Did UF adjust, no. Apparently our response to that was have Emory try and clap louder? Ridiculous.
#2, Gator fans are not happy with the cutesy, good time Charlie smile from Mullen at the end of the game. Not a good look after arguably the worst loss of his tenure.
I think that was the “I have to go take a crap smile.”At this point Florida beat us by 24, Pitt beat us. Let's focus on our VOLS. I snickered as UF lost and honestly I couldn't figure out why Mullen was smiling when he should be pissed off his center basically cost them a game. With our penalty problems and lack of depth I won't laugh to much just yet. Kentucky's DB's are better than ours outside of one. Kentucky had a good game plan and made the plays that were presented. Mostly by UF crapping the bed. Hopefully we continue forward with progress. SC is next... Go Vols
We are rebuilding with 71 players and a first year coach and will succeed. Mullen took a top ten team and will finish 8-4 or worseAgain, consistency. It’s not normal to be able to take Bama to the wire twice in a row, then just sorta flail around unprepared and amateurish vs Kentucky.
I’m not sure how he manages to blowout Tennessee every year, they’re better than Kentucky in my eyes. Maybe you can explain that one?
