Where Are All The Gerald Jones Apologists Now?

I trust who called me with this last night, and it isn't from TOS

Obviously not good enough unless it was from Trooper, Gabe, or Jones, you recorded the conversation, can prove it was you and them, and post it here for all to listen too.

Modern technology makes it too easy to doctor something like that.

Gabe Wright will need to hold a press conference with his hand on the Bible, and spill the beans on all this. If not, it obviously isn't true.

Gerald Jones was garbage from the moment he stepped on campus. Just another in a recent string of overrated malingerers around here.

I don't know if I agree 100% with the sentiment.

But I'll go to the gates of hell with you on it just because you successfully used the word "mailingerers" in sentence.

Basilio had a rare good point today. He said we need a guy on this team like Al Wilson, simply to make an example of GJ. WWAWD? No way he'd let someone get away with a stunt like this.

This Guy hatvol brings it. I love it. Have noticed a lot of "oh shucks" types on this board. Definitely not this Guy.

That would result in a massive Free Speech Violation Lawsuit so big he wouldn't care if he got in the league.

A mediocre Vol football player who hurts the program by helping Trooper Taylor and Auburn. Hat must be thrilled.

"I got a call a week or so ago from a kid," Jones said. "I don't know who gave him my number, but I didn't talk down about anyone. I actually gave several positives about Tennessee like coach Baggitt. I just told the truth about what I know about Tennessee and Troop. At the end of the day that kid made the decision was best for him. Anyone that wants to criticize me about a rumor needs to look themselves in the mirror. I know what I said and it was all positive."

Honesty about the coaches he respects. Honesty about the program. Praise for Tennessee and its coaches, but not false attacks on other coaches he respects. This is precisely the kind of recruiting Dooley prides himself on -- blunt honesty and truthfulness with recruits, with nothing shaded or hidden.
