When you arrived at VN?

Don't remember what I googled, but Volnation was the second or third link. Lurked for a month or two. Figured it was a "boys" club and didn't think I'd fit in. But I finally joined anyway.

Stumbled onto the site by literally typing the url to see if a site by this name existed. Pretty sure it was within days of when Freak started the site.

That is life... there are just a few days between "Cheap Labor" and "Grand Poobah." :hi:

Joined after a friend found me a picture with Eric Berry holding kryptonite. The antics of fans during the season(s) kept me around for the past year and a half.

When I first arrived at VN Kiffin had left and I was trying to get more info on potential hires. Prior to that I only read GVX but VN has surplanted that role and them some. It's funny now a year later I am on reading about DC's.
My question to all of VN is what brought you in and what was going on with UT when you did. Pretty easy to see why we stay and spend so much time here but I thought it would be interesting to look back to when we had our first VN experience.

I joined right after moving to Japan in 2006 (Air Force). Born and raised in Greeneville, I spent 18 years trying to get out of Tennessee and now I have spent almost 22 years trying to get back. :hi:

We could go 0 and 100 and I would still be glued to VolNation and I would search high/low to find a Big Orange game on TV or on-line.

Our beloved Vols have been through the wringer for several years, but I am more excited now that I have been in a long time. VolNation is my source for anything Vols....knowingly, most of the stuff on here you have to take with a salt block, but any little tid-bit of information is worth the hours spent scrolling through the threads, re-reading the same topics over and over, and picking and choosing what I want to beleive.

I wish VolNation a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Blessed New Year....we are a proud group of fans....but it serves as my extended family....although I am one of the readers and don't post very often.....:loco:

I joined in December of 2006 after we got an invite for the Outback Bowl. I'm pretty sure my first post ever was a "Make fun of Penn State with Pictures thread." Some things never change.

Anyway, it's good to know there are people less stable than I when it comes to Tennessee sports. Merry Christmas VolNation!

I joined in the offseason after Fulmer got canned. I was like, "HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS?!!!!"

The answer is because I now live in Salt Lake City. I was lucky to stumble on it.

Before the format was changed I was rockytopinalabam. When I first came in Rick Clausen had just brought us back to beat LSU after being down 21-0 at the half. I remember there was a poll on here; who was the better QB Rick or Casey? Most people, but not me, were voting for Rick. Just goes to show the knee jerk reaction of the fan base. Kinda like now, I can't believe people are calling for Pearl's head after a couple of losses, even though we beat the #7, and#3 teams in the nation.

What a cock tease that LSU comeback was, as far as things to come go.

I joined this past summer but I was always checking out VN before to keep up with current events and info surrounding the VOLS. I appreciate all of you that post here at VN as ya'll are informative and entertaining. Two thumbs up, Great family fun.

I joined a few years ago after i read On Rocky Top by Clay Travis then forgot my password... had to create a new account. Man I need to remember my information.

Go Vols and Merry Christmas. May we win the bowl game and a top 15 recruiting class.
