When will we play TN football again?

Seems like it takes power house schools a long time to get back their winning ways after dropping in performance. This team has Really dropped this season. I don't know how Vandy and Kentucky ever stood the basement so long. It sucks down here!
So, how many seasons till we are back. We will be back. May be different faces at coaching and I know many players faces will be different. So what do you think?

To answer the thread question, I'd say about 8 years from now. This team reminds me so much like the 4-7 1977 Vols. Outmanned at almost every position (except for one or two) against the top teams and never really in the game against those teams. Eric Berry = Roland James. Took us until 1985 to get SEC championship competitive. So, around 2016 we should be right up there at championship level.

Good grief, I hope it doesn't take that long. I was tiny tot in 1977, so I don't know about those teams. I just wonder how much worse it can get?
