No, no, no.....assignment of numbers is being delayed. At this time there are no concrete facts, but based on several first hand reports..... it appears there will be additional digital combinations available soon.

Will the black jerseys return? I liked them last year but too much negative association with Kiff now. I think they are retired

Let's hope the numbers assigned to some of these guys contain only 2 digits.

They will very likely not return. Dooley is very traditional as far as the uniforms go and has made that known to our apparel partner.

Has Dooley made any changes to the uniforms for the upcoming season? I've noticed that Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Indiana, etc. will all be using a new adidas template with the adidas logo on the collar and team logo above the back nameplate. Just curious if Tennessee will be adopting the same look or if any other changes have been made.

Honestly, I don't know. That was one of the designs presented last fall to the old staff, but I believe they elected to keep the old template.

Overall, you won't see any major change in the uniforms under Dooley. At La. Tech, he resisted adding an alt. red jersey, even though Tech had worn red as a primary in the recent past. He came around on it because it was one of their traditional looks.

We'll still have orange pants to choose from, I'd imagine we'll see them on the road from time to time.
