When will Nat be a Sister?

Thanks Behr. My favorite is where she is leaning down to kiss him and she is cutting her eyes at the camera. She has been a doll. I hope the jelousy doesn't kick in once the newness wears off. I've tried my best to show her lots of attention.
That is very important for the big sis. I said I would tell you a big sis jealousy story so I will now that I'm well lubricated..:p My youngest daughter was born on October 24th, a week before haloween obviously. My older daughter was 8 years old at the time and appeared thrilled to have a little sister. Well on halloween my older daughter went to a party at a friends house a couple of miles away. There was a dark stretch of road under construction between their house and ours and when I was bringing her home I hit a pothole in the road and a hub cap came off my wheel (this was a while ago). I pulled over and told her to hold on a second and I would be right back and went to get the hub cap. When I came back to the car I heard her crying hysterically and asked what was wrong. She said she thought since we had a new baby we didn't need her any more and I was leaving her on the dark road by herself. Broke my heart a little but she got over it. :cray:

I appreciate you telling that. It would have broken my heart too.

I don't have any children, but wish I did. I enjoy you guy's sharing Pic's and stories about them.

Thanks for the story hman. I bet it did break your heart. Funny how soft our hearts are when it comes to our children. Nat(Chance too) def has softened mine.

I'm sure outside of this forum, you get the least amount of attention of anyone in your family. Just giving credit where credit is due.

On the otherhand, you worry me eating those pineapple sammiches. :)

Your probably right. I wouldn't want it any other way though. They deserve it.
You'll never guess what I had for lunch today...

I can't help myself from making a suggestion:

Assuming you can't grill the pineapple.

Use focaccia bread.
Put the pineapple first
Then some fresh arugula
Nuke some teriyaki sauce and pour it over the arugula
Some shredded rasdish would be great to top it with if you have it, if not a little onion will suffice.

I just bought some rasdish last night when I went to the store. I don't have any arugula though. I can't get enough of the pineapple/red pepper combination. I don't know what made me try it but I'm glad I did.

hahaha. You and I both mis-spelled Radish.

The red pepper is an excellent choice IMO. How do you use them? Canned, Roasted, Raw, sliced, shredded etc. Just curious because I think I'll try it (even though I don't really care for pineapple), it sounds good and I'll try almost anything.

I try to use fresh pineapple as much as possiable and just use ground red pepper. I'll sprinkle it over the pineapple and let it sit for a day or so. I also mix some of the red pepper with a little bit of mayo. I don't care for alot of mayo though. I can't get enough of 'em here lately.

Big sister is sick right now. She woke up real snotty, sore throat, and running a temp. She just threw up about 30 min ago. She's sleeping on the couch. I can't stand to see her sick.

I thought you were talking about "fresh" Red Peppers as in (Red Bell Pepper). Crushed red pepper sounds good as well, but you might want to try the "fresh red pepper" thing. Wow, to me this is interesting.

We're getting ready to head to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate. Nat says thanks. She asked what all the fireworks and dancing m&ms were for.:) I told her they were for her. She just grinned. "to me? from Behr?"
