You can’t be serious...Belichick leaving NE??? When HELL freezes over!!!! Brady would retire if BB leaves.....I’m not seeing this happen one bit...

Quite honestly, Tennessee football is so inconsequential and so irrelevant right now, they could announce it at halftime of the SECCG and no one would even take the time to comment on it.

I hope the news is released that UT has made a SPLASH HIRE a few hours before the SEC Championship game for it to run across the tickers of all the college championship games and to have the commentators and analyst mention it during half time of several or all games Saturday. That is the only way we will get some major media time during a highly watched event until next August or September!!!

Hope its a good one. Our offense has sucked since Dobbs left. Pruitt will announce it in his cocky "I'm from Bama and I'm better than you" manner. His last presser really rubbed me the wrong way. He literally shook his head like "how dare you question me...getting blasted by Missouri and vandy is what u deserve". Very condescending and cocky. Yeah thanks for embarrassing us....again. We appreciate it so much. We are so grateful you are gracing us with your presence.

If I was Pruitt then I'd have my guy in K town tonight to sign the contract.

Tomorrow about 1 hour before the games start I'd have a big press conference and announce our new OC with Fulmer, all our coaches and all our players there to show total TEAM support at every level.

Especially if it's Freeze or another big splash hire we want all the free press we can get during all the games to make certain that most recruits learn that Tennessee is NOT playing around anymore.

SEC and the nation be warned, Tennessee IS damn well coming back to stay!

The timing could get interesting. Not sure UTAD wants the Bama/UGA game or the G20 political stuff to overshadow their announcement, if that's the case it won't be this weekend. Perhaps next week when there's a lull in the sports news cycle between this weekend and the upcoming bowl games. Gives talking heads something to talk about IMO.
