I saw one video where he dropped at least three passes that were all catchable

Z. Rogers is a "good" receiver...not great, but has good speed and good hands. He can help. If he is farther along in reading D's and knowing where to go and how to run routes....he should start. Hunter or D. Rogers will beat him out during the season....but play the one's that are the most game ready at the begining! JMO!!!!!

I'm not so sure

Yea!!! They would KILL them.......and Alcoa is really good, but a FCS school would beat ANY HS team....especially in TN.

Sorry! Every kid on UTM's team was good enough to get a football scholly.....how many each year get a scholly from Alcoa...and does anything with it????????UTM would win by 30 or more!!!!!!!

I believe he has to sit a year since he was at another D1 school.

yea...but he played basketball at MTSU. if that is the reason...NCAA needs to fix some of the rules. He was highly recruited as a WR at Columbia Central HS (co-op) and at Culleoka HS as a basketball player (Culleoka does not have a football team). If he switches sports....he should be able to play! JMO!!!!

I know he CAN't play...but should be able to.

i just wish we would go ahead n throw bray in the mix, let him take his bumps and bruises and learn from it. so we dont have to go through the whole qb transition in a year or 2 again.

Link please. Everyone has seen video of dropped passes by several, especially early on. The dropped passes by the entire receiving corps have "dropped" off significantly as camp has wound down. I believe he has a lot more speed than his big brother also.

I think he will see ample playing time this year to keep the rust off of him. IMO.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the opening day roster. Dooley said on Vol Calls that the starting spots are pretty fluid depending on how the players show up when the real action gets going. I fully expect to see several different starters by the time Oregon and Florida come calling.

This... Plus you always have players that look great in practice but tank come gameday.
