When was the last time?

When was the last time the SEC had 3 new coaches starting off the year? I remember 2 new coaches several times but I can't remember when we had 3 start off the same year.

I don't think you could classify Spurrier as 'new' in 2005.

Edit: Or 2004 either. Whatever year he took the SC job.

Wasn't Spurrier back in 2004?

I'm pretty sure it was '05. I remember he beat Fulmer and Meyer in his first year and Meyer didn't lose to SC from '06-'08.

I think Spurrier was 05, cause he beat the vols that year and everyone thought he was "back"
then they soon realized it was an RS thing

Spurrier takes over Florida
Bill Curry takes over Kentucky (just moved from one SEC school to another so similar to 2005)
Jack Crowe takes over Arkansas (Arky was not an SEC member until 1992).
