When was the last big conference bubble team to win the NIT

Not the point. Why can't you/they post during the good times, why only the bad?

Because they are cowering in fear that we might make the tournament and they'll be forced to shut up once and for all.

They know they got lucky this year, since we missed by literally one team. So they have to get their shots in now before we're a top 25 fixture next year.

On top of that, why not talk about how winning the NIT helped the program? The often mentioned South Carolina teams didn't improve. The 2004 Michigan team followed up their NIT win with a 13-18 season. Stanford's big NIT win last year....got them right back to the NIT. Penn St. followed up their 2009 NIT win by going 11-20.

Seems to be hit or miss whether it helps at all or not. Ones like Ohio St. in 2008 that was more of a blip out of the norm that they didn't make the NCAAT; it was just a down year, I don't think the NIT did a whole lot one way or the other.

Because you and the others in your group kept preaching how great Counzo was, but, mainly the campaign that was put on to fire Pearl.

You know how totally ignorant this is? Just because your upset at firing Bruce, then you can't support Martin?

I was upset like hell that we fired Bruce. I mean, I was pissed for a week and thought we were done. But, you know what? Time went by, I got over it, and I realized that I have no control over the situation. So, I support my coach.

There is no reason why someone should be anti-Martin because Bruce Pearl was fired. So ridiculous and one does not have anything to do with the other. It is not Martin's fault. That really blows my mind.

It tells me he is far more a Pearl fan than he is a Vols fan.

Just my opinion.

I really don't care how my team fares in the NIT. It's the losses to inferior teams during the regular season that concern me.
