Yeah, I'm having a hard time seeing the vision. Amazon doesn't have to be the biggest streamer because there are so many other benefits to a prime membership. Maybe time on platform is correlated with more sales?...but anecdotally, I don't find that to be true for me.

Netflix dropped like a rock after disappointing 2Q subscriber numbers but has already roared back, you can't keep them down.

and also keep in mind that amazon makes a lot of money off of Netflix as Netflix is a big user of AWS

that show will be like 10 years old by then...I would hope people have gotten their fill.

I don’t think any one show, particularly an old network TV show, makes or breaks Netflix subscribers. The Disney catalog is going to hurt them. On the plus side Disney+ is starting out cheap enough that most people would be OK with paying for both.

Overall, I think at this point it is their original shows, movies, and comedy specials that retain subscribers.
